Read a piece suggesting all journalists following UFC should take a stand against the company's action and policy of what they can/can't report but that won't happen. Everyone looks out for themselves in situations like that.

I've seen a few comments that Lesnar is struggling to find a training partner, as his last one was shot in a Cincinnati zoo.

UFC fighters are subject to four months of drug testing by USADA before they are cleared for competition. As Lesnar's fight has just been announced, he'll only begin the drug testing procedure now, a month before the fight. The UFC have said waivers can be granted in 'exceptional circumstances' and have apparently given Lesnar one in this instance, so Lesnar has got through a bit of a loophole. It's pretty shady, as this ruling could give Lesnar (or anyone else for that matter) time to cycle off steroids before they become subject to drug testing. It's a loophole that you could drive a bus through, sideways.

That would explain why the fight was announced when it was.

Apparently, Lesnar has permission to use his WWE entrance music.
