Dreams you've had

Postby AkydefGoldberg » Apr 30, '16, 4:29 pm

I had a weird, but kinda good, dream last night considering how my sporting prowess is well, basically, shit.

So I make a snap decision to go to America, somehow get an invitation to play in the US PGA golf tournament (not a clue how that happened), the final hole involved some weird game where I had to reach the top of a small mountain where UK TV presenter Susanna Reid was waiting for me to give me a winning hug (it was nice from what I recall), then I came down into a press conference brandishing my trophy and the first question is asked if I looked forward to defending it next year. My response was: "Guys I've just won it, give me time to enjoy this moment."

Then I got up.

Antidepressants had a crazy effect on my dreams. When I first started taking them it made my dreams go from pretty dull to batshit crazy.

One dream sticks out in particular. I was a police offer driving Kitt, the car from Knight Rider. I got a call through on my radio saying that some serious shit was going down. A bunch of blokes were loading a boat full of cocaine, ready to set sail for Mexico. Sirens screaming, I raced down there ready to stop these dirty criminals in their tracks. A few of my colleagues follow in pursuit. We arrive and storm the boat.

These guys are smart, though. They heard our sirens and tried to dispose of their incriminating evidence by chucking it overboard. I realise that we'll never get them behind bars without evidence, so while my fellow colleagues place the men under arrest, I dive into the sea to rescue the cocaine.

I looked underwater and saw the bags of cocaine sinking towards the seabed, but as I swim towards them, a bunch of sharks appear out of the blue. Paralysed with fear, I watch the sharks sniff the sinking cocaine bags, and swallow them whole. I try to climb back onto the boat but it's too slippery. I crash back into the water and see the sharks turn their attention towards me. Tails thrashing, they begin to circle me as my colleagues and the Mexican drug lords watch the horror unfold. I reluctantly accept my fate, being torn to shreds by a punch of coked up great whites.

It was one of the most entertaining dreams I've ever had. 10/10 would get depression again.

I was browsing a social media site via smartphone and saw some douche I knew previously under "people you may know." Yes, unfortunately, that is sometimes the case. I then made the mistake of falling back to sleep, and had what I considered a "bad" dream not long after about said person.

Brain noise.
