I love how in actuality, Mr. Manning was born with a silver spoon in his mouth and into football royalty, grew up in the incredibly affluent french district of N.O with his NFL QB dad, was the number 1 high school recruit/ Draft prospect, and has done nothing but underachieve when it counts.

Then we have the most unlikely success story in football history, the classic over-looked- rags to riches story.. and all of America hates him because he happens to be incredibly handsome and beat everyone's favorite 90's dad 2 out of 3 times they play.

First) Fuck you Danielson.

Second) That fan is right.

Third) That was a good game and though disappointing it was a tolerable loss. Patriots gotta learn to sack the QB when the game is on the line instead of letting him slip away. But there's no shame in losing to the Panthers. They've been real impressive the last while and are emerging as a solid threat in the NFC. I mean I still think the Seahawks will be the team to beat in the playoffs but Carolina can't be taken lightly.

You are missing the other elements of why people genuinely find Manning more likable than Brady. The parts are two-fold. First, Brady went to the Bill Belichick school of public relations. He's a robot who basically shows no personality or positive emotions in press conferences. Manning comes across as likable with a bit of charm and sense of humor that Brady refuses to show. The other element is simply the fact that most people like an underdog over a dynasty. The Patriots are an overwhelming, hold it over you dynasty. Where as because of his struggles in the postseason Peyton still has a level of underdog that you want to see quiet all the doubters wrong.

I'd also say that Peyton doesn't act like he was born with a silver spoon in his mouth, that would be Eli and why I and most people find Eli a lot less likable.

To say that Peyton was born with a silver spoon is ridiculous. He could've easily gone the Ryan Leaf route but instead he is a student of the game. I think the reason why the Patriots are so disliked is because

a) they're a team from Boston. Nobody likes Boston except Boston people.

b) Spygate.

c) They win, alot.

Plus Manning is such a classy guy. But I think that promo poster was unintentional, just ended up looking like that lol.

Yeah exactly. I love Peyton but it's ridiculously naive to say he wasn't born with a silver spoon in his mouth. He grew up in football royalty, which automatically gave him the scouting attention that other talented young players could only dream of.
