I've never even thought much of Curtis Axel but since the Rumble, his #AxelMania thing where he comes out says how long he's still been in the Rumble, and he should be going to Mania, has been Gold. You can even see the crowd support starting to grow. This week he had the crowd chanting "Axelmania".

Especially with the Raw after Mania coming up, that wild crowd always latches onto something, be it the "Yes" chant, or "Fandango'ing". Axelmania could be running wild in Santa Clara!

It just shows what can happen if you do something new with unused talent. Rest assured though, wwe has 3+ weeks before then to fuck it up.

I'm sure there's a guy who's been in an earlier Royal Rumble who was beaten up on his way to the entrance............................who was never eliminated..........so no sorry, that record is nowhere near the OFFICIAL record

It's definitely a hilarious angle, but it has a very limited shelf life. He can't use the Royal Rumble thing forever, but what they COULD keep doing is putting him situations where it seems like he's been screwed, so that he can constantly pretend as though he's the victim of some huge company wide conspiracy. That'd be pretty damn entertaining.

He should get screwed over and have that be his gimmick, until eventually he overcomes a "screw over" and wins anyway, putting that gimmick to bed.
