Batista is apparently going to be in a Highlander movie

On a related note, WWE's website has an article about Batista being rumored to star as The Kurgan in a new Highlander movie based on the iconic franchise.

WWE's website notes that the filmmakers were looking for someone strong and imposing to fill the role of the main villain in the story. The role was originally made famous by Clancy Brown.

First of all, I had no idea they were making a new Highlander movie.

Batista's acting career seems to be blowing up suddenly. He's in the new Bond movie too!

Batista as The Kurgan...funny how the start of the Highlander film begins with MacLeod at a wrestling event and now the lead villian will be an actual wrestler, wonder if they'll do a similar start to this film. Clancy Brown stands 6'4" and was an opposing figure when face to face with Christopher Lambert who stood only 5'11"....and batista stands 6'6" so I wonder who will play macLeod and bring that imagery?
