Yeah, the time lapse is a bit funny, there has to be more to the story than what this chick is letting out. As for the incident, it sound more like a drunken frat boy accident than a intentionally caused injury. By using words like choke hold and force it makes the accusations sound more menacing than they are, or my impression of what they are.

That's crap. You look at the injuries that were incurred and there's no way explaining it off as "frat boys" BS. Or any other crap. Hopefully, WWE will see this for what it is and put an end to what's left of Slater's career.

^ This

Those are some serious injuries to just chalk up to "lol we were having a good time, sorry".

And just so we're not seen to be agreeing, I like Heath Slater as a performer, 3MB4Lyf. :P

This is a shock man, I've always liked Heath Slater but this sounds pretty bad.

All it says is that she had 5 vertebrae damaged, the extent of the damage is unknown and her prior medical history is unknown. 5 damaged vertebrae could be as simple as a misalignment in her back caused by a drunken slater jokingly grabbing her from behind in a "hey, let's go party" scenario without her acknowledging him first.

I have been to plenty of parties and had this happen, or have a drunk guy put his arm around your shoulders with to much force. I never sustained injury but I can see it happening.

Second, the time lapse has me wondering, if it was a serious injury like cracked discs or worse I don't see a professional security company ignoring it like she claims. I know we don't have the details but I don't think it was a intentionally caused injury.
