I really remember that time when Rangers, under Advocaat, were buying all these exotic players but decent names. Numan was another name. Albertz - what a left foot that guy had! Felt for the keeper trying to save his rockets. Am I right in saying it was this lavish spending under Advocaat, authorised by David Murray that caused their later financial difficulties? Or was it bankrolled by Murray?

I didn't take as much of an interest in the controversy surrounding the admin that a lot of people did, I don't know whose call it was to go nuts with the buying but I think it was around that time period, yeah.

Numan actually slipped my mind, he probably edges Boumsong on the bench tbh.
