David Luiz signs for PSG for £50 million, British media proclaim him as "an incredible, inspirational defender", and is deemed worthy of a 10 minute biographical documentary shown several times daily on Sky Sports News.

Ron Vlaar "...has had a good tournament". Not a great deal more has been said about him.

Explain this shit. Give Concrete Ron is due :(

In a way, Vlaar and Luiz are two different types of defenders. Former is more old-school who relies on defensive position, timing and putting his body on the line. Latter is more driving the ball from the back into an attacking transition which more often than not - as shown on Tuesday - fucks up and his floppy curly hair, and jovial nature sees him get more focus than the more traditional defenders. Shame.

Third place match between Brazil-Holland tonight, 9pm ko.

Pointless game. Rather Louis get on a plane back to Manchester to start the job than this match. Sure Brazil-Holland will be consoled by the fact they didn't make the final by the thought that they came in third place..

Van Gaal isn't even taking a holiday after the tournament either. He's off straight to meet up with the United squad on Monday.

Yeah, apparently he said "holiday is for wimps" but not sure how credible that quote is. I don't think he can afford to if he wanted to, and it's good that he recognises that as alot of work needs to be done with the team on pre-season.

He's a numpty. One of those who could would get slapped down once his cocky exterior wears off.

Joe Hart is another annoying twat for me. Nice couple.
