That is assuming they can find some of their previous form under Adams.

Apparently he put in transfer request with interest from West Brom or a lower table PL team? If so, what a prick after Hughton spent money on him and the guy, as with most strikers from Scotland who do well, struggled to replicate that in the PL. But tbf, maybe didn't have the service he needed but felt it was a poor return.

There's not been much talk on the Hooper front here, so I'd imagine it's just the typical rumourmongering. He's been told by Adams he's seen as an integral part of the squad next year and really we're under no pressure to sell, so I can't see it happening. If a substantial offer came in for him, that'd we'd profit from maybe, but with his goal return last year, I can't see it happening.

And some Norwich fans have really aggravated me with their criticism of RVW whilst giving Hooper a free pass, simply because he scored more. Hooper had far more chances than Van Wolfswinkel and squandered far more than him. RVW had maybe 6 shots on goal all season because our service to him was god awful. He's a player that likes balls coming into the box and we didn't get many crosses past the first man, either in the air or on the deck. It's no wonder he only scored once all season to be honest.

At the minute I'm quietly optimistic about the season to come. It looks as though we're gonna hold onto Snodgrass and Ruddy which is a big plus. Olsson has been linked to West Ham, RVW's future is still very much up in the air (personally I can't see us selling him because we'd wind up taking a substantial loss, but I also can't see him sticking with us in the Championship) and I imagine there will be some interest in Fer following the World Cup. Wes Hoolaham, Pilkington and Bassong seem the likely candidates to try and force the move, and after their performances last season, I wouldn't be opposed to seeing all three of them leave. Really all we need to add is an attacking midfield player.

Senderos was a hilariously awful signing too IMO, why not try for Hangeland instead?

Because Paul Lambert doesn't know what he's doing.

Joe Cole must not be able to believe his luck.

Released by Chelsea, joins Liverpool.
Released by Liverpool, joins West Ham
Released by West Ham, joins Aston Villa.

Aston Villa were really struggling in midfield aren't they....

It sounds like Lambert's taken the "you need more experience" too heart too strongly with the recent signings.

I wonder if Suarez will leave, real have reportedly planned to offer over 75 mil for him. 28 year old striker I think I take the cash if I'm Liverpool.

Sherwood set for West Brom. Barring his outbursts and moans, did a decent job at Spurs. Think he'll do satisfactorily at the Hawthorns.

Also, vintage Scholes here

Saints' Dejan Lovren has handed in a transfer request. Saints could struggle next year.

No Lambert, Lallana, Shaw or Lovren next year by the looks of things.

Pirlo signed a two year extension with Juventus. As "old" as he is, he's still beast when it comes to free kicks and passing. I'm glad to see my favorite player still having success.

Agreed, Pirlo is a legend of the game.

I've been arguing with a few Saints fans on Twitter. They seem to think that as their players are under long term contracts, they won't be able to leave. If this was true and contracts bound you to your club, football teams would only ever sign players who were out of contract.

Poor deluded buggers.

I was arguing about this with a bloke, and as soon as I said that he went quiet for a while. I was sat there minding my own business, then a pop-up notification came up in the corner, simply saying "Bellend." :lol
