- Okay I loved the promo from both of these guys here. Kaiser had some hard hitting stuff in his promo about Foster. Overall good segment to fuel the feud between Kaiser and Foster.

- This Amos Hess character is brilliant :lol Talk about the troll of all trolls. Spartan vs. Reece. Lots of back and forth action early on, I liked the sequence of them constantly missing moves on one another, thought that was cool. Lots of back and forth action on this one.

- Amos Hess segment was nice and cool. I really like this character the most by far.

- Daz promo was very intense. Very powerful words and lots of emotion behind them. I really liked this promo as well, great job :golfclap .

- Neo Runway Chic vs. Orion Bishop & Hiroshi Sato. Liked the story being told with Sato and Bishop. Good match as well.

- The Disciples challenging for the Tag Titles. Little segment just to keep the feud warm, i dig it.

- Omega and Daz plotting on Miller, uh-oh...

- Nice little squash match here for Magnum to establish heat for his character.

- Miller sending a message out to Daz. Once again building the feud, I'm intrigued by this feud so far.

- Solid match with BJ Washington getting the dirty win over here. Finally getting his first win :lol

- Johnny fighting with his girlfriend Gia, comical skit mainly on Gia's part on her trying to justify kissing Zaid. Johnny sounds very insecure.

- Zaid and Johnny's feud brewing here. Cool stuff from the Ace vs. Zaid match as well.

- Gia turning on Johnny :O . I wonder if she'll unite with Zaid now.

- :lol the Master skit was another good and funny one.

- Great match between Spencer Miller and Omega here. Lots of good back and forth action. Lots of drama and false finishes here. I loved the arrogance by Miller throughout the whole match

- Don't know too much about the backstory of the Logans. Still a cool and shocking way to end the show, I like it.

Overall good show, my favorite parts are definitely the ones concerning the Daz and Miller feud.

Postby Everlong » Apr 08, '14, 2:55 pm

I've been looking forward to this show for a long, long time. Why you ask? Well, if you haven't read yet, you'll find out soon enough :lol

The 8 Year Odyssey - It really HAS been an odyssey with Nick Foster, the title couldn't be more accurate. It's incredible to think how far the character has come. Foster has become such an immense babyface... he's like the next Daz in a sense, the "huge heart" and the never say die attitude, British of course. And it's a testament to the way the guys have booked him so far that his rise to the top just seems to natural, not forced at all. Anyway, great promo. Foster saying "WE did it," giving lip service to the fans for being with him every step of the way, just classic babyface stuff. Nick Foster AND THE PEOPLE vs. Kaiser!

Kaiser playing on the idea of him already having beaten fan favorites is great. "If Daz couldn't beat me, what chance do you have?!" A fair question on the surface level, yet so despicable. And the "why did it take 8 years" question... so good, especially considering how quick Kaiser shot up the roster in WCSF. Awesome opening segment, great way to kick off the feud and I love the fact that things got physical already. This is gonna be immense.

Reece vs. Kid Spartan - Looking forward to Spartan's debut here, he had an interesting promo last week. A dirt bike jump for Reece?! Sweet, haha. What the heck is Amos Hess doing in a match with two guys who are basically unrelated to him? We'll find out I guess. Somehow I get the feeling that Reece isn't the kind of guy who'd be likely to join the Disciples, haha. I dig the tempo of the match, some impressive offense from both guys in the early going. I'd like to see a little more of the personalities of both guys shine through in their action a bit more; that's a minor criticism that can easily be added as we start to learn more about these guys, and since they're new characters the writers themselves might not even have a grasp on them yet. Lots of solid action... back and forth chops, enziguris, some turnbuckle/flying work. That Piledriver sounds like quite a nasty move. Slightly surprised to see Spartan pick up the win rather than Reece here, but if Amos is scouting it does make more sense for the heel to win.

Thy Will Be Done - Silly Hess, Reece DID win his first match :P Interesting bit here. I'm glad Spartan didn't join the Disciples, as I feel like three is enough for that group. At the same time, I'm wondering where this is going. Hess leveled the rookie and I'm sure that's not the last we'll hear of it. Guess we'll find out next week.

Anon thing - An all your base are belong to us reference? That's gotta be a sim fedding first :lol Definitely an intriguing little promo. I'm unsure how the gimmick will translate to the wrestling world but we will see more once we actually see the guy in person. Definitely piqued my interest, though.

Daz's Thorns - Been hearing good things in the shoutbox about this promo... pumped to read it. And holy fuck, Daz is absolutely slaughtering Miller in this promo, unbelievable. The biggest fear being alone and remembered for who he used to be... the "wolf in sheep's clothing" bit, this is fantastic. The obsession Daz talks about for the business is a great way to tie the Flash thing together. Last show I was really iffy about using him in this storyline, but Daz is making it seem sensible now. And holy fuck, the progression here, the honor being gone and all that... I just don't have enough words to say how fucking awesome this promo was. By far the best one in PCW's brief history so far. This just made me so amped for Daz/Miller. Awesome, awesome, awesome job.

NRC vs .Bishop and Sato - Interesting to note Bishop's mood right off the bat here, that alone tells me that this probably won't end well for the hodgepodge pairing of Bishop and Sato. NRC know something about dysfunction within a team. Love the idea of Bishop refusing to tag Sato in the early going, clever stuff -- the stubborn "I'm a singles wrestler" attitude is probably something that's legitimately occurred in real life many times, haha. It was cool to see NRC with a lot of cohesion for once, it highlights the troubles of the other teams even more in contrast. Sato making a blind tag, and Bishop pulling him out of the cover... lmao. The call for the hashtagger was brilliant, btw. Anyway, nice story within this match here. The most interesting stuff Bishop has been a part of so far, I'd have to say.

Face of Defiance - Well, didn't expect things to get physical with these teams so quickly! Nice little message delivered by Barry. Maybe I'd have liked to see a bit more in terms of announcer reactions after Barry's last lines there, but we get the idea.

Time for a Change - Glad to see Bishop getting a segment; this is exactly what he needs. Bishop showing some attitude here... looking forward to seeing what he has in store for us. We'll see indeed.

Get in line - Daz must truly respect Omega if he's willing to let the Canadian get his hands on Miller first after that huge speech earlier. Nice main event we've got lined up for us now.

My stuff - I hope "the lone wolf" was Mayfield's actual nickname, I thought it was but couldn't remember :lol

Blood on your hands - Nice segment here. Poor Gryphon, a casualty of war :lol Miller's final bit in this promo was some of his best mic work yet, I think. The idea of it being a "Daz farewell tour" is something I hope he plays on in the next couple weeks, especially with Daz last week admitting that Kaiser broke him at Oblivion. I think this feud is really a chance for Miller to elevate his game, especially after that epic promo Daz delivered earlier. Nice work.

Carter vs. BJ - Interesting that the first in-ring action for the J Team comes in a singles match. Should also be interesting to see how Carter manages without Calvin. Kind of interesting here, the fun-loving energetic nature of the Comeaus gets paired up with a similarly fun-loving J-Team, but the J-Team gets their jollies from more sinister means. Makes these teams more of a natural pairing than I'd anticipated. You can see this in the spot where BJ dances over Carter and continually stomps him. I like him cheating to pick up the victory, too... we've had a shockingly low percentage of dusty finishes in PCW so far, so this gives the J-Team a nice heelish feather in their caps to make their introduction to the fed.

Second chances - Interesting promo here. There's a lot of mystery being built up around Sears. Some of these references were ones that I didn't get, but saucer did a good job of giving us just enough info here to connect the dots. Clearly Sears has wronged Onyx at some point in the past, which adds an interesting dynamic to their relationship. It would appear that Sears is also looking to change the way people look at him, hence a change in nickname and a new look. Nice, subtle hints at the character direction here that make me more intrigued to see what he's got in store for us.

I want a #fieldplow hat!

I want the truth - TROUBLE IN PARADIIIIIIIIIISE. Johnny needs to sack up and stop being a bitch, he should be more secure in his relationship with Gia. I understand that he took a hit to his pride and everything, but the woman's trying to gloss everything over. Cmon Johnny.

Ace vs. Zaid - Dammit Zaid, that's no way to treat a fan! Not sure what exactly is going on with Ace here, a bizarre moment needless to say. Love Zaid giving kissy faces to the crowd, just rubbing it in to Johnny, lmao. Johnny not even waiting til after the match... I like it! The fight is on.

Enough is Enough - Gia's done?! Done with what? I highly doubt she's done with PCW, but that would definitely be a shocking twist to this story. Done with Johnny? Done with the whole situation? Interesting. The bit with Gia getting knocked over by Johnny was a bit obvious, but this definitely was not. Looking forward to seeing what she meant.

Cream of the Crap - So is the Master actually sticking around now? I thought he'd been basically written off?

Main Event- Has Miller really not wrestled on Onslaught yet? That's surprising. Bit surprised to see Omega starting off with grapples rather than just trying to throttle Miller; he wanted to take the match to avenge Flash, no? Let's see some closed fists and brawling. Ah here we go, after the snap suplex he's starting to get into it. Yeah, now this is picking up into the fight I'd envisioned, haha. Can't help but feel that Omega's going to wear himself down, playing right into Miller's hands. The announcers are really plugging this assassin nickname for Miller... clearly he just wants to be Sinistra :P It's fitting though. The pacing of this match was done really well. You had Omega going HAM in the early going, but Miller was eventually able to slow things down and start picking his spots. I think that shows a lot of progression in SKS as well, I was originally really unsure about this character shift for Miller, but as SKS settles into the role I think it's starting to come across much better than it did originally. Omega kicking out of multiple big moves makes him look beastly . Glad Miller pulled off the victory though, he needs to go on a nice streak if he's to look legit against Daz. Plus, Omega is basically a part timer these days.

Post match now, and Miller continues the assault like the bastard he is. Seeing Daz and Miller mix it up is great. Looking forward to that encounter, for sure.

Best for Business - Needless to say... the landscape of PCW has just shifted 8)

All in all, really solid show. My props go to the Daz/Miller stuff and to Nick Foster, who continues to just build and build on the success he's established in PCW. Looking forward to our newbies, particularly Sears. Orion Bishop should have an interesting character progression ahead of him.

Solidly done all. Glad I could sit down and read this all this afternoon.

Re: PCW Onslaught Episode 8 RESULTS!

Postby SKS » Apr 09, '14, 9:39 pm

I think it's quite crazy that it's taken 8 years for Nick Foster to get a title shot. But that makes this moment and the upcoming match mean that much more. Truly an 8 year odyssey. Foster (the) people vs Kaiser Cavanah. I doubt Kaiser would have it any other way. I think the case was the same for his match vs Spencer Miller, not a single soul - besides me - wanted Miller to win that match. Kaiser spewing that truth. Why has it taken 8 years is a great question for someone like Kaiser to propose. We are just getting warmed up indeed. Really would not be shocked at the result of this title match regardless of who wins. Toss up for me.

A bike shooting out of the stage? That's a first. I assume Kid Spartan looks like a power ranger. Not that that's a bad thing. One thing I notice in Hess's promos sometimes is that there isn't a punctuation mark at the end of some sentences. Is that intentional? Interesting to see Hess scouting these two, it doesn't surprise me that he'd want to add to his army. I like the high octane pace of the match between these two high flyers. The one paragraph ending with a half nelson driver confused me, it seemed really long and convoluted. Perhaps a few short sentences instead of saying everything at once would be a lot easier to follow. All in all not a bad debut match for Kid Spartan and a nice win over Reece. #FieldPlow. Sweet.

I have no idea what to think of this anon character/segment.

I have to say that Daz's promo made me pee a little. Talk about intensity. Jesus Christ. I think Daz is right in saying Miller's biggest fear is not being respected. It would explain the drastic character change and violent actions. This is extremely personal and honestly I felt a bit uncomfortable reading this. Man this is awesome. If this was the old Spencer Miller then I'd say he'd be running like a scared animal. But it's put up or shut up time for the new Miller. Let's hope he's up for the challenge for his sake at least. Perhaps the young Miller has bitten off more than he can chew by going after the hall of famer. We shall see.

Interesting team of Hiroshi Sato and Orion Bishop. Great chemistry shown by Team Cat....Neo Runway Chic as expected as they are a real team - the champions - unlike two singles guys like Sato and Bishop. Bishop just isn't a team player, is he. A win for the champs as I figured, and here come the Disciples. I believe this is the first physical meeting between these two sides. The tag titles will belong to GOD. Haha, I love it.

I think a fresh gimmick change for Bishop is the right thing to do. Quite honestly, I wasn't really invested in his character beforehand. Looking forward to see what happens next.

Omega want some Miller? Well he gon' get some Miller.

Nice heel promo from Magnum, I have no idea who Dereck Mayfield is so I assume this will be a squash match. Well look at that, Mayfield showing some fight. And that's it, haha. Interesting to see how this feud progresses as The Buck is nowhere to be found. Shame, really.

I enjoyed writing this promo, hope everyone liked it. If Daz wants to get personal, Miller will welcome him with open arms down on his "level". I think we have a lot more to come.

Carter and BJ set to face off. Interesting to see how they handle singles competition. I like the dancing of BJ going along with the stomping. It seems to catch up with him though. Oh a low blow for the win. That's not very nice from someone named "BJ".

Interesting and eerie promo here. I don't know much about the past of Onyx and Matt Sears, but I'm looking forward to seeing him in the ring.

I want a #FieldPlow hat. Need to get some Miller merchandise up there, but no one would buy it. Maybe a generic black elbow pad.

Lol, Johnny is acting like a jealous prick to Gia. She was doing what was best for him, he should realize that. More trouble on the horizon.

Who is Shawn Stevenson? Ace dropping bombs, haha. LMAO, he just froze. I'm sorry, but that visual is freaking hilarious. Is Zaid going to kiss Ace? They would probably cheer Hitler against Zaid. Damn, Johnny V ain't taking no shit! Jeez, now he hits Gia! Uh oh. I think she just broke up with him. GET IT ZAID

The Cream of the Crap segment is one of the greatest segments I have ever read. Holy crap. "The Master lets out an evil laugh, but then suddenly begins choking. He has to stop for a moment to clear his throat, before bulging his eyes at the camera and speaking to it again." Christ, this had me laughing out loud.

Enjoyed writing the main event, always a pleasure to write Miller against Omega as "The Buffalo" has always been one of my favorites. Hope everyone enjoys.

I was not expecting the Logans to ever come back, I was hoping for Andrews or maybe Dynamite, then that damn Hogni song started and I was like fuck. Andrew and Alexa are nothing but trouble, Burke you had one job! I am certainly intrigued on how this will impact the next Onslaught, and the shows to come. Perhaps there are more people on their way?

Great show guys, I very much enjoyed it. Onward to Resurgence!

Re: PCW Onslaught Episode 8 RESULTS!

Postby Daz » Apr 10, '14, 6:30 am

8 Year Odyssey – One of the best things about PCW’srun thus far has been the rise of Nick Foster. Nick as a character has really come into his own and Nick as a writer as well, has improved leaps and bounds. He reminds me of me in 2010, when everything just started clicking for me and after eight years, he’s definitely deserving of this shot. The Daz comparisons seem apt given Kaiser’s response to Fosters typifying face promo. Foster nailing Kaiser with the FCC was a terrific way to end the segment. The build to this title match is already off to a great start. I have to mention too how well Kaiser plays his role. He is so entertaining and makes you want to see him get the shit kicked out of him. That’s what a good heel is.

Still love the commercials.

Gabriel Reece vs. Kid Spartan – Good way to showcase the new characters, pitting them against one another. Another elaborate entrance for Reece. Wonder how long he can keep this up. Hess on commentary? Interesting twist. I thought the pacing for this was a little better than the previous Reece match, and also Hess’ commentary helped quite a lot as there were longer pauses from the action, so it didn’t feel like we were jumping from move to move. Good little match. Picked up the pace towards the end, some nice little counters. I like that both men crashed and burnt going high risk, especially after Hess pointed that out on commentary. Good showing for Spartan, a better showing for Reece than last week.

Thy Will be Done – Amos is just gold on the mic. I loved the dismissal of Reece, so fitting with his character. Trying to force Spartan’s hand into having him join the Disciples wasn’t something necessarily saw coming, and working with Hess right off the bat, if that is indeed what happens, is only gonna help the character grow.

The Rose’s Thorns – Well this promo has been received better than expected. The goal was to up the intensity, explain away Flash’s involvement with Miller without over complicating the solution. I think we managed that nicely. Especially like that I got to throw in the WCSF heel turn line from the promo against Dynamite at Meltdown. I’ve tried to portray Daz as somewhere between that and his old righteous self. He’s been more aggressive in his PCW run thus far and I have a feeling it’s only gonna get worse as far as Miller is concerned.

Neo Runway Chic vs. Orion Bishop & Hiroshi Sato – You have no idea how hard it was to keep this under 5 pages. This was pretty much all about Bishop and whilst NRC may not be entirely on the same page still themselves, it was important to highlight that they are more together than this mismatched hodgepodge team of Sato and Bishop. Also finally got to use the Hashtagger, so yay!

Strike Down the Face of Defiance - Nice and simple little beat down. The promo was solid stuff, setting up the match at Resurgence. I feel there’s a lot more to come from these two teams, especially when it comes to mic work. Looking forward to it.

Time for a Change – Another good little promo. Orion has been unfortunately swept under the rug a little bit with everything else going on, so it was great to see a little more character from him. With some new face characters now filling the undercard, should open up the opportunity for Bishop to go heel and hopefully reach his potential.

Get in Line – Enjoyed writing this segment. Again it addresses whatever doubts and criticisms people may have had towards the Miller/Daz scenario from the previous show. Hopefully all those doubts have been alleviated at this point. HFX has gotten so much better with promos over the years, it’s almost slightly ridiculous.

Lessons to be Learned – Interesting promo from Magnum. Tim’s essentially writing this feud by himself at this point as Buck disappeared. Nevertheless, the gimmick of dragging out old SOS guys for Magnum to beat is awesome, although as one of those old SOS Guys, I do hope some of the characters are treated with respect lol.

Magnum vs. Derek Mayfield – Probably the best choice to start off this series with, a former SOS Champion, someone Buck was a big fan of. The gimmick of knocking out his opponents is still great and so different to anything else in PCW. Magnum has become a standout character in his own right and I hope he continues to be highlighted in such a strong fashion, even with the Logan’s returning later in the show.

The Blood is on Your Hands – Well, this show needed a response from Spencer Miller. I know spencer never saw my promo so it’s a little bit eerie how well they mirror one another, in terms of the mentions of the hospital and ending careers etc. It’s a suitably obnoxious response … which again highlights aspects of my promo … whilst remaining in keeping with his current assassin gimmick. This feud has been taken to another level rather quickly.

Carter Comeau vs. BJ Washington – It’s interesting that a tag team feud’s first match is kicking off with a singles match. Fast paced little match. Nice back and forth action. I’ve enjoyed the balance between segments and in ring stuff this week even if it does mean having a slightly longer show than usual. It was all fun and games last week when these two met, but it appears Double J and BJ have shown their true colours. The low blow leading to the finish

Second Chances – Loved this. It’s mysterious and a little weird but I get all the references and allusions so I’m ahead of most people. I especially liked the dig at Olivia Crane and the IOW reference. Looking forward to Sears mixing it up in the ring.

I Want The Truth – This was a good little bitchfest between these two. A little childish perhaps, but it fits with the gimmick. I like that the events of the last week haven’t been forgotten about. My guess is this doesn’t end well for these two.

Ace vs. Zaid – Ace’s weirdness at the start was different, about all I can say on that. Zaid is on a role in terms of character development. Pulling out the chapstick here was genius and Ace’s reponse was inda perfect. Really was getting into this match before the Johnny V run in…

Enough is Enough – This was pretty solid. V showed good aggression when going after Zaid, rightfully so, and I liked the call backs to the previous segments in the way the brawl unfolded. Gia slapping Johnny was great progression and her calling it quits adds some intrigue as to what happens next is their rivalry. Good stuff all around.

Cream of the Crap – Best. Segment. Ever.

Omega vs. Spencer Miller – Nice aggressive start in this one. Good sell on commentary too during the intros, hyping Omega’s aggression and desire to hurt Miller following Miller’s recent attacks. You two obviously have chemistry writing against one another having done so, so many times previously. It was on show here. Loved Miller taking control and the commentary was good during these portions, playing up how aggressive Miller was, really putting over the assassin personality. Omega’s comeback and dramatically hitting the Lone Wolf Bite, Flash’s move, was a nice touch. Teasing he was gonna try and break Omega’s neck prompting the Daz run in was another good way to continue the feud. When Daz finally gets his hands on Miller all hell is gonna break loose.

Best for Business – I won’t lie, when I saw the Won’t bow Down to Man logo, I may have internally screamed a little. Great introduction to Andrew and Alexa. I love that they didn’t do anything, just came to the ring and got booed out of the building. Excellent. Great way to end the show.

Good show all around this week. Like I said, I enjoyed that there were more matches, even if it meant a slightly longer show than usual. The segments were all on point, Daz/Miller got taken to another level. The Main Event was excellent without exceeding what it needed to and the shock of the Logan’s returning topped it off. This may be the best top to bottom Onslaught thus far.

The 8 Year Odyssey - Glad people enjoyed the opening segment. I've always said I'm more of a match writer than a promo guy but I enjoy the chance to improve in that department for sure. For what it's worth I thought Kaiser absolutely nailed his part in this promo, he brought up some very valid points and came across just as despicable as ever. I'm also happy the feud was booked to get physical right away, I felt like it needed too.

Reece vs Spartan - Very pumped to read this match as it features two writers with e-fed experience plus I'm anxious to see more of Spartan. Interesting that Amos Hess has come out at ringside. Loved the Northern Lights bridge pin, that was sweet. Good little opening match that I enjoyed reading, Reece had a better outing and Spartan gets the big victory in his debut match. In the ring he certainly looks like someone who could be excite the audience with his technical ability which is good to see.

Thy Will Be Done - So it looks like Hess is recruiting for his army? I shudder at the thought of The Disciples getting bigger like a cult. Good for Spartan pieing Amos off haha so it seems he'll be an out-and-out face now which is the right move if you ask me, his move-set is one that would benefit him being a good guy. FIELD PLOW! Hahaha welcome to PCW, kid. Maybe Reece and Spartan will join forces to bring down Amos?

The character of Anon genuinely scares me. I'm creeped out right now.

The Rose's Thorns - This was intense. Since arriving in PCW Spencer Miller has been a cold, calculating guy but more importantly in his feud with Foster he really dominated the mental side of the battle, fairly easily for that matter. It doesn't look like that's going to be the case in this feud as Daz has started things off on fire talking about Miller's fears and trying to expose him as a scared little boy craving respect was golden from the British Rose and the history lesson on Spencer's career was a brilliant way of driving the point home.

Characterizing Miller as an enabler to another's addiction was fucking genius, something I wouldn't have even thought of - that line alone made this feud the most personal thing going in PCW right now. Daz throwing all of his morals out of the window for this one is a scary thought and actually it's just hit me, I think Miller really has got to him, which means he could be dominating the mental aspect after all? It's going to be a back and forth joust this one and I'm really looking forward too it. Arguably the best promo cut in PCW thus far, big up Daz.

NRC vs Bishop and Sato - I actually enjoyed that the story in this one focused less on the dynamic between the champs but more on Orion who has fallen by the wayside in recent weeks. I'd have liked more story-telling on behalf of the commentators, really emphasizing the point that something is up rather than focusing more on calling the action but that's just me. Hashtagger! Crazy move, lmao that Twitter reference at the end. Good match.

Strike Down The Face Of Defiance - Barry and Knight are two men firmly on the same page with no one man focused on gaining more of his share of the lime-light. They've got the upper-hand in this one so far and honestly I make them favourites to win at the next PPV right now.

Time For A Change - Bishop got some attitude I love it! Time to finally see what this guy is all about. Lmao "You'll see...you'll all see" #sitcom101 :D

Get In Line - The somber tone of this segment was spot-on and from a booking standpoint made perfect sense so I'm happy this happened. Daz is Flash's friend sure but he doesn't have the same bond Omega does so it's only right that he gets his shot at some retribution first. "For Flash" - oooooo yeah get that sum'bitch!

Lesson To Be Learned - Lollllll Tim 'bout to squash some of SOS's finest hahaha I have a few names I want to see Magnum destroy too though *Cough Elliot 'Pork Scratching' Chop Cough*

Phillips vs Mayfield - Meh there's not much to say about Magnum recently sadly. Tim's writing has been on point and the character is already established which is great but he's largely written solo for the whole time he's been here as Buck looks to have disappeared before he even started it seems like we're going to be seeing Magnum do a few more squashes until he gets to the PPV - you should squash Buck too, it's shit that he's fucked off so soon after joining. My advice to Tim in the next few weeks is the funnier the better tbh haha.

The Blood Is On Your Hands - I said last week that I felt SKS was going to raise his game in the next few weeks and it already looks like he's doing so. Loved this segment. Miller is not only trying to get inside Daz' head but also knowing he has to deal with Omega later does something despicable to throw the Buffalo off his game too, I don't know how Miller has the time to think all his plans through haha. Great job making Gryphon look good too - a fact I don't think anyone has picked up on yet but I thought the decision to have Richard still say that he felt Daz was going to win made him look tough as hell so kudos on that. This needed to be a good segment after Daz' earlier and it really was - LOVE the idea of a Daz Farewell Tour. "Every rose eventually withers" - badass line.

Carter Comeau vs BJ Washington - Nice little match, back and forth - a good read at this point in the show as this was a fun match in contrast to the intense nature of the show so far. Low blow from BJ (lol) and we can finally distinguish who to support in this feud - good stuff.

Second Chances - Hard for me to fully get into this one as I didn't get the references but it's clear that Sears and Jaden haven't had a smooth history together to say the least. The fact she despised him so much and yet is still back by his side worries me, his plan, his mission statement, his persona...something about Sears has changed that must've impressed Onyx and I'm certainly even more interested to see him debut fully.

I Want The Truth! - Fully understand Johnny V being pissed off, I would be too. I think he's even more annoyed at the fact Gia felt she had to get involved to help him win the match. The shift in dynamic between these two is brilliant, good little segment here.

Ace vs Zaid - Lmao Ace is strange as fuck. Not sure about the 'Let's go Ace' chants as there's not much known about him as of yet that would cause people to cheer for him, that's just me nit-picking though. Zaid was his usual enjoyable self, not much to say about this tbh.

Enough Is Enough - Wow shit has hit the fan. Looks like Gia has finally reached boiling point and that slap to Johnny V was a cool moment. I'm not sure whether she meant done with Johnny V or with PCW in general but I guess we'll find that out. To me this could either mean Zaid has his chance to make a move or maybe this is all an elaborate scheme the Jersey couple has concocted? Who knows, I wanna find out though which means you guys have all done great jobs this week.

Cream of the Crap - Lol. At this point I think if Enygma came back to write for The Master at this point he'd get over haha. So it looks like Kaiser is going to be writing this side story just for fun?

Omega vs Miller - Wow Miller's first match on Onslaught 2 months in? That's crazy hahaha. Good violent scrap this and I was surprised to see Omega go for a pin so early, figured he'd want to take his time laying the smackdown on Spencer. God Miller is one of those dudes you just can't stand, he's constantly got a smirk on his face that slap to Omega can't be a good idea, let's see. I think you guys got the philosophy of this match spot on to be honest with Omega dominating the early going aggressively as you'd expect but then for Miller to turn the tables and gain the upper hand for a long period of time. Spencer looked really good in this kicking out of the LWB before nailing his finish for the win. Good match this.

Best For Business - Oh shit. Like I said I'm just happy I no longer have to keep this a secret. I actually read this segment ages ago and loved it, it was handled perfectly. The show about to go off air only for an announcement to be made at the last second, the countdown, the graphic...THE LOGANS. This is going to be a lot of fun of that I have no doubt. Andrew Logan is instantly public enemy number one - his family cost a lot of the roster their jobs and I can't wait to see what he has to say next week.

-----------------

Great show guys, can't wait for the next one.

^^Yeah it's difficult for me to know as a writer to know how to proceed with the feud since Buck is basically gone. I mean, it's probably pretty obvious at this point that Magnum is going to win at Resurgence (I haven't been told this, but with Buck being gone it's the only thing that makes sense) so do I bother trying to make him seem credible?

No, I wouldn't. The guy wanted to come back and a week later. His character hadn't even 'returned' full-time yet at this point before he'd vanished. He doesn't deserve to have you work hard making him look good.

The only thing I would say to that is a good feud will do more for Magnum in the long run than a squash feud. I'm not necessarily saying It has to be the most epic of encounters, but if Buck were to at least look like a little bit of resistance for Magnum before Magnum earns the win it makes Phillips look all the better to me.

In real life yeah but when reading the shows whether Tim writes a 2 minute squash or a 20 minute classic we still know what's going to happen come the end. I don't think Buck deserves to have his character look good tbh - in all honesty I think it'd be better for Magnum if he squashed Buck next week and moved on to another feud with a writer that isn't going to bail on him.

Yeah it's a tough spot. We all know Magnum is going to win, but I were to just squash Buck next week that'd mean that the mods would have to scramble to find something else for him to do at PPV.

Or I don't have to have a PPV match, that'd be OK too. I'm sure I could some up with a good way to keep him busy for a few weeks while still building him as a character.

I think that'd be better to be honest. It's hard to get invested in a feud when you know the end result 4 weeks in advance. The character isn't going to benefit from it really, it'd be best to move on. That's just my opinion though, might be good to get a few other thoughts on it.

I wasn't aware of Bucks departure, in fact, I quite liked the idea of Magnum facing off against Bucks friends while he was away training. If that had continued, I probably wouldn't have even noticed Bucks departure!

I'd just continue using this as a chance to build Magnum some more, until he gets his feud with Johnny V that'll make him a standout... :P

"Anon thing - An all your base are belong to us reference? That's gotta be a sim fedding first :lol Definitely an intriguing little promo. I'm unsure how the gimmick will translate to the wrestling world but we will see more once we actually see the guy in person. Definitely piqued my interest, though."

"I have no idea what to think of this anon character/segment. "

"The character of Anon genuinely scares me. I'm creeped out right now."

He's getting exactly reactions I'd been hoping for. :D

My thoughts otherwise: An awesome show that I'm quite happy to be a part of. Maybe I'll, like, start posting and stuff. But maybe not. I should get a signature and stuff. I'm so bland.
