Holiday season

So those of you that are in school how did your finals go and how are you planning to celebrate.
Otherwise for everyone else. How are you planning on spending this holiday season?

Personally I didn't do too hot on my finals but it was because my brain was fried last semester. Time to recollect myself by playing a lot of video games. Me and a bud plan on running through all the Zelda games so I will start that soon.

I'm not in school, so I'll just answer the 2nd question.

I'm going to a co-worker's house for Christmas dinner, but other than that I'm staying home with the family. It's our daughter's 2nd christmas, so she'll have more fun with it. She cried on Santa's lap today, so that was awesome.

Since I been 8 years out of school next year I be spending my holidays with family mostly however a few awesome co-workers (who I also classified as one of my best friends) will have a get together sometime this week since one is going on vacation the week of Christmas. We all bought each other gifts so we will give our gifts early because of the one guy going away.

Well I got fired for a bull shit reason last Monday so there is that. Luckily my mom is helping me make it a good Christmas for my boys but still. Other then that things have been pretty good. We have like six different Christmas things to do with family over the next two weeks. But my wife likes it and so do my boys. I don't mind most of them, I just hate my mother in law. Good news is I don't have to spend a lot of time at here place since she gets a real tree and I am allergic.

I'm off from Friday. I'm going home to my parents place on Saturday morning. My girlfriend will be staying with us, though her family lives in my home town too so she'll get Christmas dinner with her folks on the 25th. Other than that, we won't have to spend much time apart.

On the 21st, my parents are throwing a big party, which should be a nice way to kick off the holiday. It's probably going to turn into a bit of a music session, which I'm looking forward to also. On Christmas eve we'll probably gather at our local for some drinks and giving small gifts to friends - something which has been a tradition in our group for years.

Christmas day will start with present opening, and then we'll probably just be playing games for most of the day until delicious turkey dinner. Most of the rest of the week will be spent playing games and hanging out with friends and family. It should be a good time.

I have to go back to work again on New Years Eve unfortunately, but I've got the following day off. So I'll probably book myself and the girlfriend into a nice restaurant or something to celebrate the new year.

I have to say, I'm really ready for Christmas at the moment. It's been a tough few weeks for me and I really can't wait to start relaxing and having fun.
