Even though Escalation is just days away, this episode of Phoenix Championship Wrestling is already shaping up to be a Pay-Per-View of its own.
The Buffalo is back. After about a year away from the ring, Omega officially comes out of retirement for one night only, to take on The Disciples in a 2-on-1 handicap match. An issue that should have been settled between Gryphon Richard and Amos Hess has now turned into a personal war between 4 men, thanks to the nefarious tactics of Hess. Last week on Onslaught, the self-proclaimed "savior" and his right hand man Theodore Barry kidnapped Gryphon Richard in at attempt to force Omega to step back into the ring. That attempt worked, and Omega must now defeat both of them in order to rescue his protege from captivity.
But through their mind games, have Hess and Barry unreleased a storm they will not be able to contain? Or will ring rust and the Disciple's two-on-one number's advantage spell doom for the Buffalo? We will find out in the Main Event.
In another anticipated match-up, Nick Foster has challenged the mysterious Spencer Miller to a one-on-one confrontation in the ring. After attacking Foster, Daz, and Ryan Haynes, Miller finally got what was coming to him at the hands of the Brit last week. What can we expect when Miller finally steps out of the shadows? He has yet to wrestle, or even say a word for that matter. What happens when these two men collide... is anyone's guess.
The Escalation match approaches. With this being the final episode of Onslaught before the PPV comes to us on Sunday, what will be the mindsets of the 25 men who are competing in the match? Who will be looking to make an impact, or position himself as the odds-on favorite before the big show?
Rumors are circulating that PCW President Richard Burke will once again appear on the broadcast to make some announcements. That's right, more than one. After the Escalation match, what else does Burke have in store for us?
