Great tweet I saw about Lesnar having to go to UFC to beat their big Samoan because WWE won't let him beat theirs.

It seems Helwani's ban has been overturned but no tweets confirming from him yet.

Read a piece suggesting all journalists following UFC should take a stand against the company's action and policy of what they can/can't report but that won't happen. Everyone looks out for themselves in situations like that.

The journalists should definitely form some sort of union after the way Helwani has been treated, and the many others that the UFC have treated like shit over the years. On the MMA Hour yesterday Helwani confirmed that previously UFC staff have 'got physical' with him after he's reported fight news.

Here's the full show, where Helwani discusses everything that happened. It's pretty shocking at times.

I've seen a few comments that Lesnar is struggling to find a training partner, as his last one was shot in a Cincinnati zoo.

"This is the first time we've seen a 100% Brock Lesnar compete in the octagon." Heyman knows how to fucking sell a fight. This is the same thing he said before Brock obliterated Cena at Summerslam.

Lesnar has reportedly been granted a waiver for the UFC's four-month drug testing requirement.

UFC fighters are subject to four months of drug testing by USADA before they are cleared for competition. As Lesnar's fight has just been announced, he'll only begin the drug testing procedure now, a month before the fight. The UFC have said waivers can be granted in 'exceptional circumstances' and have apparently given Lesnar one in this instance, so Lesnar has got through a bit of a loophole. It's pretty shady, as this ruling could give Lesnar (or anyone else for that matter) time to cycle off steroids before they become subject to drug testing. It's a loophole that you could drive a bus through, sideways.

I hear Antonio "Bigfoot" Silva is in talks to fill in for both roles.

That would explain why the fight was announced when it was.

Lesnar said on SportsCenter that his UFC return has been in the works for months. If so, it's pretty shady that they've only subjected him to random drug testing after his fight was announced. If the UFC were campaigning for a clean sport like they say they are, they'd have informed USADA the moment Lesnar was approached about competing at UFC 200 and subjected him to the full testing procedure. Instead, they've given Lesnar several months to cycle off any steroids he's on before he gets tested.

Mark Hunt has spoken out about the whole situation, saying it's bullshit and unfair, and accused Lesnar of being juiced to the gills:

I'd hope the above is a big news story within MMA circles, sounds completely unfair and murky.

Good interview - noticed how relaxed he seems doing interviews compared to his early career but nice story on Ali. Whether his losses in his first run were all down to his illness IDK but he seems to say he's in much better shape.

Fuck yeah!

That theme has one of those "you know shit is about to go down" starts.

I honestly don't know how I feel about this. I mean, if he loses then his whole "unstoppable beast" thing he had going in the WWE is pretty much down the drain. To top it off, if he shows up less than a month later at SummerSlam with a fresh loss in the UFC...to me it's a lose lose situation. (Unless he pulls out a win of course) :lol
