OK, an NFL rule investigation is far from a criminal case that sends someone to prison.

But you're saying that procedure and due process are meaningless. This case went to court, where procedure and due process are anything but meaningless. How can you possibly believe they're meaningless when it comes to this case?

I'd just like to say, the real "fair" thing to do here is, instead of suspending Brady for four games, they should just take four wins away from the entire team at the end of the season. And if they went like 2-14, then make it 0-16 and the next year they lose two games from their record.

That way, it punishes the whole team, which at this point it's still CLEAR that The Patriots cheated and were caught. It was just fucking stupid for Brady to be the fall guy for it.

The only part that matters to me is the fact that Dallas will now have to face New England at full strength in week 4!

There's nothing I care less about than "procedure". It's pointless and boring minutia and doesn't matter. I care about what happened and catching people that break rules. And between cellphones, nicknames and locked closets I have no doubt that the Patriots willfully and systematically broke this rule time and time again.

It's cool that you think procedure in a case (NFL or court, apparently) is irrelevant, but you didn't answer my question.

How is the ruling by the judge in any way wrong?
