Anyone else remember Destruction Derby on the PS1?

I was thinking of old games I used to play on the PS1 and this one came up pretty quickly...

It was AWESOME!

I remember not having the full game but a demo (used to love those PS1 demo discs with a preview of the games) and I used to love it. All the things I love about racing games: speed, crashes, debris flying around...!

And it was a two player aswell I think? Shame it hasn't been reinvigorated for the next-gen.

Any memories?

Yeah I remember the game, but I played on PC. It was a fun game. Very raw, but interesting. I wouldn't mind a reboot.

I friggin loved that game, you can still buy it on PSN i think, I'm fairly sure I have it installed

This brings back a lot of memories. Hard to believe that it came out 18 years ago. I remember spending many Saturday nights playing it on a friends PC, along with Doom that year.
