John Cena

Now this is all from the point of story telling..........................are we really supposed to believe that Cena who was apparently a second away from winning the WWE Title is really going to force his way into the Amrose- Rollins feud, just because Seth was the man who denied him the victory.

Why isn't he trying to get another Title match and allowing Ambrose........for now............have his feud with Rollins allowing Cena to perhaps win the title and THEN move onto Rollins afterwards.

There has been no mention that Brock is not competing at Hell in a Cell, and it just comes across as Cena not really bothered about the title any more and simply wants to fight Rollins for revenge..........which doesn't make sense................no one else has challenged Brock so as a result.............the champion is taking the month off..........something The Authority wanted to strip Bryan of for doing before the severity of the injury meant it HAD to happen.

Seems more a thread about the contrived booking in this particular instance than John Cena as a character, though the title is a bit misleading for that reason. Either way, we're always going to have John Cena threads as long as he's the only star they bother to showcase on their product. I think it's long past time we all make our peace with that much. If we stop talking about Cena, there won't be much left to talk about.

The contrivance does warrant talking about though. It seems unrealistic that Cena would drop everything to chase after a guy who has been presented as little more than the smallest of thorns in his side, particularly when another competitor already has Rollins' number and has dedicated his life to fucking his shit up.

Fair enough, Rollins cost Cena the title, but beating him up isn't going to stop Rollins from doing that again. Rollins will still have the briefcase. And he's still going to be involved in the title scene whether Cena wants it or not. Fighting Rollins isn't a solution.

You know what would be a solution to the Money in the Bank problem? Fighting Lesnar in a fucking Hell in a Cell match so nobody can interfere. It's so goddamn obvious that it's weird they're not going that way. Storytelling 101 says that if the good guy loses a match due to interference, then he should look for a stipulation that lets him face his opponent alone next time. Even just from a character standpoint, it puts a strain on suspension of disbelief that Cena hasn't been campaigning for this over the last couple of episodes.

Cena really has killed the show for me. He's always the focus, and when a storyline without him is good(like Seth and Dean) they find a way to get him involved.
