2014 Football/Futbol Discussion - United Is British Slang For 'Shite' Edition

^Not surprised. Has been woeful. Looks like United making sure they don't get Europa.

I always felt a Van Gaal is needed despite the emotional appreciation towards Giggs. Some of these players need new - sometimes, confrontational and aggressive faces - who are going to push them. If the Class of 92 stayed, they'd still be in that relaxed zone I feel. Keep Giggs involved in the first team; put Scholes and Butt to be in charge of the youth/reserves teams as I believe LVG will want to introduce a philosophy at all levels of the playing side and send Phil Neville to join his brother in the studio.

Also, #LambertIn @PorkChop

Ha, I knew you would. But Liverpool were probably hoping both Villa/West Ham would draw/lose today and both have won meaning they'll roll-over for City which I really hope they do.

Don't get excited. United fans hate Liverpool more than City but any good feeling will evaporate as soon as you lift that trophy!

My brother, as a Liverpool fan, was dropping more F-bombs than the Iron Shiek watching the Everton-City match. But tbh, the atmopshere set the tempo. Everton fans were not really into the game despite brief periods when they scored their goals but City did enough to win which says to me that there might be another twist but really, City should do it but have doubts about them still.

Fuck United, fuck Liverpool, fuck Fulham, fuck West Brom, fuck Cardiff and after tomorrow fuck Chelsea.

I'm gonna be a miserable, miserable bastard from now on. It may be hard to tell the difference but I assure you there will be one.

The Premier League table, since Tony Pulis took charge at Palace

Image

Martinez has clearly done a better job though. Martinez MOTS. Sanogo for the Ballon D'Or.

"With the World Cup fast approaching, and teams to be announced any day now, the ever controversial Carlos Tevez has made it clear to Argentine FA that he does not want a call up as he will be at Disney World instead this summer! The Juventus striker has had a great debut season with 18 goals to his tally so far, and his fine form is looking like it could earn him a call up, but he already has plans. He told reporters:

I don't think I will be with my national team at the World Cup, I've already bought tickets to go with my wife and my three children to Disney World. They deserve this trip and I have been very clear in my mind where my place in. Things are as they are and that’s that."

^Not surprising, his international record is poor. Aguero seems to fit despite going off yesterday so the Argentine coach is hoping he stays fit so he doesn't have to call Tevez up. It's more the fans who are wanting Tevez to come in.

Is it just me or does AVB remind anyone of Christian Bale?

Real Madrid 2-2 with Valencia, after Atletico lost 2-0 to Levante. Latter now favourites again when they didn't seem so strong after their loss.

Villa's kits for next year have been leaked by a reliable source on the Villa forums (he's described the last few kits perfectly - predicted the green away kit in 2012, and the Battenburg away kit this year to the tee)

Much better than the current kits. I do wish we'd get rid of Macron as a sponsor though.
