but to some of the viewers watching last night, homosexuality alive and well during the zombie apocalypse was more upsetting than any of the gory deaths, child killing, or cannibalism that have been constantly present in the past five seasons.

Every hear the phrase "The media is only as liberal as the conservatives who own the networks." The show is simply introducing two characters who were in the comics for a few years. Who cares who pretend people love. Who cares who real people love? And do you seriously have a problem with "pushing" interracial relationships? It isn't pushing anything to show that interracial relationships exist. Nor is it pushing something to show that homosexual relationships exist.

Do a few assholes on the internet deserve to be called bigots? Of course not. Most people you talk to on the internet are assholes. Doesn't make them bigots. But when they start saying bigoted stuff, then yes, they do deserve to be called bigots. These people clearly have a problem with homosexuals which makes them bigots.

As I already stated, there is already a lesbian character in the show but there was absolutely no uproar. That's what doesn't even make sense. They just don't feel comfortable seeing two dudes kissing. And if that really is the case, then they need to grow up.

And I really don't get the whole "it's being forced down our throats" thing. Can't something appear on TV without people coming to that conclusion? Gay people exist in real life. Why can't they appear on TV without it being a huge deal?

I'm sorry Circled Square, but if you see nothing wrong with any of the statements posted by any of these people and can even understand where most of them are coming from, but I just assume that you are just as ignorant and bigoted as they are. I don't see that as being an important distinction really. It's still being hateful entirely due to their sexuality. I severely doubt that the people reacting this way would behave any differently to gay people they encountered in the real world.
