So, Breaking Bad...

Now that some of the talk and hype has died down, in retrospect, how do you feel about the series finale? Did it meet or exceed your expectations? Or were you maybe underwhelmed?

I thought it was a perfectly decent conclusion. Didn't really knock me off my seat but seemed fitting and right.

I thought it was perfect the way it ended. It felt alittle rushed, but all the loose ends were tied up and that is good. When i try to think of a better way they could of ended it, I really cant.

It had some phenomenal moments but I thought it sold almost every character outside of Walt very short. Jesse in particular. We never really got to see him respond to Walt's reveal he let Jane die, and other than being there when the white supremacists got blown away, he never had a chance to react to the rather spiteful murder of Andrea which left her son an orphan. I wouldn't say I was underwhelmed but it felt like it was lacking something.

I was definitely underwhelmed. I had predicted everything correctly, as most people did, and that annoyed me. But it was a very good ending.

As Vince Gilligan himself said, sometimes the best surprise is no surprise.

Agreed. One of the most satisfying endings in a TV series, very Shakespearian.

I look at it this way.

It was far from the best series finale of any show ever. But it was the BEST series finale for Breaking Bad. There really wasn't a better way to end it.
