Thor Ragnarok

I thought the first two Thor movies were pretty weak but I'm really looking forward to this one. The cast is insane and it seems to do a nice job balancing humor/seriousness.

Been saying it for a few months to my friends, don't know how it happened but somehow in a year that has Guardians of the Galaxy and Spiderman, the Marvel movie I'm proper hyped for is the Thor one. Doesn't hurt that a chunk of this movie is gonna be Planet Hulk and that story is pretty cool.

Good lord, the superheroes are fighting each other again.

How many films does this studio need to churn out before they happen upon a second idea?

Do they need one? This is their thing and they do it well. I mean we're sitting here on a Wrestling board, you don't say shit like 'Good lord, the wrestlers are fighting each other again' as if it's such a bad thing do you? :P

That's not the same thing though. A more direct comparison would be if every big show was headlined by former tag team partners who had just turned on each other. And I definitely would moan about that. :P

100% disagree, the first Thor was top 5 Marvel IMO. The second... yeah, I"ll agree on that for sure.

This one looks like it could be fun, but I'm going to head in with pretty low expectations given the previous Thor movie and the same kind of corny jokes in the trailer. But this looks like one I'd be willing to check out in the theater at least.

EXcited for this because of the director Taika Waititi. He directed two movies I really really enjoy. Hunt for the Wilderpeople and What We Do In The Shadows. I reccomend both to anyone who hasnt seen them.
