True Detective - Who would you cast in Season 2?

So True Detective is fucking awesome and we know that each Season will have a different story arc with two new lead actors. This of course means (and it has been confirmed) that McConaughey and Harrelson won't be returning. With that said I ask you, who would you cast as the two lead detectives for Season 2? Let's assume they're going to cast two more A-Listers, who would you choose?

Fassbender was the first person that came to my mind too. Possibly with Benedict Cumberbatch, Gary Oldman, Christian Bale...
