An amazing recovery, all things considered. He's one of my generation's sporting heroes so it's great to hear he's doing well.

Still I highly doubt he is "okay" we don't know how much brain damage has be done. I feel for the guy I really do and it is encouraging that he was able to be taken out of the coma at all but lets not forget his recovery is far far from over.

They said he was responding occasionally a few months ago, which I think by its very definition is not a coma. It's also not clear just how well he is doing, if at all.

It's frustrating without more information, but I can understand they are keeping quiet to protect the family's privacy.
