I know government employees up here also get good benefits as well as decent pay. You could definitely do worse than landing a job through the government.

I get awesome bennies but the pay fucking sucks. I work at rural government level, rulal is the lowest paid because of the way funds are distributed from fed/state levels.
Let's just say if you average my pay after tax and bennies come out I take home less than $5 / hour

But yes, I just tune the radio to a local new rock station and play on my phone. I was just dying today cause I left my phone charger at home today so I had to watch my typical phone usage to conserve my battery
