What's your favorite clothing store?

Postby Irin » Nov 23, '14, 6:39 pm

Your clothing store of choice says alot about your fashion sense. So, I'm wondering PTF, what's your favorite place to buy clothes from?

Mines is a healthy mix of the Gap, Old Navy, Express and Carson Pirie Scott.

Probably Champs. Reasonably priced and I just prefer to wear a lot of comfortable clothing.

Love Express and Ralph Lauren outlets.

I like Express but it's way too expensive for me to get a wardrobe from. There was a place at the Garden State Plaza called Xios, which was incredibly inexpensive and basically Express clothes at a heavy discount. I have a shirt that has the Express lion on it, not sure if that's even legal. :lol

I like H&M as well because the stuff is inexpensive and comfy.

I like Express, but its a little too much slim-n-fit for me, I am a little thicker in the legs. I like their dress shirts though.

I go to the Buckle for most of my clothes, they tailor their jeans for ya! Their button up shirts are good for me to roll my sleeves up.

For normal T-shirts and V-neck shirts I go to Uniqlo. Cheap and plain shirts are the way to go for me.

Asos is quite good. It's difficult to buy clothes here in the UK though as every shop is filled with hipster shite.

Can't really say I have a favourite, I despite clothes shopping really. I usually just look around the Supermarkets, they do some nice decent quality stuff these days. I quite like Next too but it can be a bit pricey.

I mostly go to department stores. Kohl's, Boston Store, H&M, Macy's. Occasionally I'll go to a place like Old Navy or American Eagle.

I'm pretty boring. I get most of my clothes from Kohl's or Target.

A lot of Express fans here. I do agree that they're a bit overpriced, but they also have a lot of $100 off $250/$25 off $75 coupons that make the trip worthwhile. I really haven't been to a Macy's in awhile since I'm tired when I get home from work and the weekends I'm running errands, but I'm overdue for a trip since I need to pick up a dress.

Nothing wrong with those two stores. :lol Although I do wanna ask how is Target's overall quality? I did buy a great quality puffer vest from there awhile ago for cheap, and their hats and scarves are well made, but I heard split things on stuff like tops.

Actually I'm curious about H&M too. How's the quality? There's many times I wanted to check out their store across the street from the Water Tower Place.

^^^ It kind of depends on each piece and each maker. There's certain things I'll get there, but definitely not where I go for my dressier stuff.

Ohh we have H&M in the UK, I don't know if it would be the same in the USA but I've always found them decent and not to expensive. Been shopping there since I was about 12, although I don't go often these days as my nearest store is in the main city centre and I literally never go down that way.

Just saw this @Irin. They have pretty decent stuff, especially for the price. It's not SUPER high quality but it's on par with what you'd find at most department stores.
