STORY #4 - SOMEONE'S IN MY BED
I slowly creep into my daughter's dark room. I avoid turning on the lights as to not scare her. I'll admit, I can't really see anything but I have a good idea of where her bed is in proportion to her door. I feel around & feel her hair. I lightly brush it back with my fingers. I lean down & kiss her forehead.
"There's someone in my closet." my daughter says quietly. She sounds frightened.
"No there isn't."
"Yes there is. Please go check."
"I promise you that there is no one in the closet."
I head over to the closet & turn the light on. I completely freeze. I see my daughter curled up in a ball sitting in the closet.
"DADDY! SOMEONE'S IN MY BED...
