My dad's a big football/soccer fan, so we were talking a bit about the world cup and specifically, about some of the teams that he said tended to be more about playing the pretty game than winning it.
This is where it gets good.
He then compared these teams to Arsenal. Completely straight-faced, with no prior knowledge, he said to me that Arsenal always try to walk it in.
I nearly split myself laughing. He looked at me as if I was insane. For serious, that's a heartwarming father-daughter moment right there. I then got to explain about the IT Crowd!
So, has a random unexpected reference or something ever seriously improved your day? I'm still laughing about this one.
