The elements of British culture:
Sarcasm
Fish and chips
Tea
Roast Dinners
Complaining
Football
Cricket
Being polite, even when you really don't want to be
Rain
Having banter with America (and Australia, but only when it comes to cricket)
Disliking Germany and Argentina, especially in football tournaments
As for a more specific idea: I'm from Birmingham, in the West Midlands. Twister, Headlesspete, Enygma, and a few others from here / WWE-Club are also from this neck of the woods. It's considered by many to be England's second biggest city after London (Manchester also stake a claim to this, though). Depending on where you go, it can be a really nice area, but also a pretty rough one. Birmingham is one of the biggest multicultural areas in the country, but is divided by two football teams, Villa and Birmingham City, who share a pretty fierce rivalry. Football is pretty much the only sport worth talking about, unless England are doing well in the cricket.
The most commonly eaten food here is a roast dinner, a curry or fish and chips. If you don't like any of these, you're treated with suspicion by your fellow Brits. There's a load of pubs around here too. Some are quite posh and expensive, others are proper gritty, working men's pubs. There are also a few pubs which are notorious 'Villa' or 'Birmingham City' pubs, and if you showed up to one wearing the other team's shirt, you'd get in a bit of trouble. Pubs are basically always the meeting place for social events - we can't have bonfires or anything like that here because of the bloody rain
Music is varied. Indie music is pretty big within the 20-30 age group, though rap, rock and dare I say it - drum and bass - are pretty popular with the youth too. Chavs still rule the streets on Friday and Saturday nights, but there's not as many chavs as there once was. There's also a fair amount of hipsters these days.
That's about it really
