Any high school regrets?

I regret getting booted out of sixth form but only because it meant the end of my laid back life. In high school I wish I'd tried harder, such a typical answer I know but I got really good grades without picking up a book so imagine what I could've accomplished had I actually put even a little bit of work in.

I read this as 'booed out of sixth form'. I had the image of you walking into class and being met with Paul Heyman-style heat until you had to leave.

Nah, I think Prophet, being the ultimate pro, would walk in regardless of heat (with black shades) and say: Deal with it. And calmly sit down.

I could have banged a lot more girls than I did if I had more self-confidence in those days.

I pretty much did what I could in high school as far as student government any other manner of posturing and popularity-winning bullshit was concerned. However, I suppose I regret not taking a clear and open stance against small town shit-kicking sports worship. I wasted valuable time with basketball and track and field. Admittedly, it was fun to be the school mascot my senior year and not really give two shits about losing games. I also horribly regret not being more informed about what to focus on in high school academically to serve me better in a future career. Clearly, that was a high school counseling error. That is such a silly role to have in a public school. Sigh!

There is no way in HELL you will find me at my high school reunion. I shudder to think of how much they have all reproduced like bacteria, and with whom...

Thank you for the warm welcome. I apologize that my previous post depicted me as a battle-hardened asshole. I assure you that I most positively defecate sunshine, like a true idealist, and hope for better behavior everywhere. I will humble myself by also divulging that I should have also done the following as a high school student:

I should have... could have... would have...

-been more of a freak on the dance floor (e.g. senior prom)
-charged people serious money for homework assistance
-sold copies of my notes for premium prices

...

I would test my hypotheses of what would happen post these events... if only I had a time machine!

Actually, I was so surprised someone sniffed me out (even though I am not on Facebook) to invite me to our 10 year reunion that I made a brief cameo. It was mildly entertaining. I sat at the guys and ruffians table and whooped it up, talked a lot of shit, and left at a comfortably early hour. Those nice wives and girlfriends allowed me to accept a few hugs from my dude friends. I think I am safe. But just to be sure, I am most certainly leaving the state at the end of the summer. I'm happy to report that my rivalry is alive and well; I'm as irritating as always... No one seemed to notice that I was missing a toenail. I thought about not wearing sandals... but I couldn't bring myself to really care about the issue. I suppose the human mind can only take in so much information at one time, anyway.
