Worst to first: which team is most likely?

Postby Everlong » Aug 01, '16, 1:07 pm

Almost every year we have a team in the NFL that goes from worst to first. Which team do you think is most likely to accomplish that feat this year:

Miami Dolphins (6-10 in 2015)
San Diego Chargers (4-12 in 2015)
Cleveland Browns (3-13 in 2015)
Tennessee Titans (3-13 in 2015)
Dallas Cowboys (4-12 in 2015)
San Francisco 49ers (5-11 in 2015)
Chicago Bears (6-10 in 2015)
Tampa Bay Buccaneers (6-10 in 2015)

Out of these, I think the clear choice is probably the Cowboys, just because of how much their season was torpedoed last year by injuries. But even that is up in the air, as it really depends on what Romo's able to do at his age coming off a season ending injury.

My dark horse pick would probably be the Buccaneers. They seemed to be making strides toward the end of the year. They still have the Panthers to contend with, and the Falcons and Saints could easily be playoff contenders, but the Bucs are probably the most improved team in this list.

The Browns of course. Them Baylor Boys are going to tear the league apart with RGIII, Josh Gordon and Corey Coleman!

On a serious note, Tennessee could be the most likely. If Luck can't get healthy and re-gain his former form and Osweiler falls on his face in Houston things could be wide open for Marriota and the Titans.

Dallas would be the most likely for sure. Tennessee is a good call too. I will give San Diego an outside shot as well.

I don't buy Dallas. Their defense can't stop a nosebleed. Tony Romo doesn't fix that.

Yeah but they play in the weakest division in the league too.

I don't know that I believe that. Both the Giants and the Eagles could be dangerous teams this year and that's not even mentioning the team that won the division last year. I think the AFC South is by far the weakest division in the NFL and the AFC West is quite possibly the next weakest.
