NFL Schedule Release Discussion - Panthers/Broncos to open season

Postby Messiah » Apr 13, '16, 11:39 pm

NFL Schedule will be released throughout the day. Denver will host the opener. It's most likely between DEN/CAR and DEN/NE for what they will go with, I'm thinking DEN/NE since it is an AFC Championship rematch and in conference. Not sure the NFL wants to do an non-conference game for the opener. I guess DEN/KC is possible, but they'll want star-power at the QB position and both teams lack it as of now.

The Carolina Panthers get a Super Bowl rematch with the Denver Broncos on Thursday Night Football to open the 2016 season, two league sources told the Observer on Thursday.

The nationally televised game at Denver’s Sports Authority Field at Mile High will give the Panthers an opportunity to avenge their 24-10 loss to the Broncos in Super Bowl 50 at Santa Clara, Calif.

Wow, surprised they went this route.

Hope we fuck them up.
