Hey all, so sorry for my lack of an update on the scoring and everything, it's been an absolutely crazy couple weeks of work. I promise I'll have it done soon. But in the mean time... WE GOT SUPER BOWL PICKS TO MAKE!

This week, an upset is worth 20, and a correct non-upset is worth 10. There's a whole lot on the line.

SUPER BOWL LI - New England Patriots (16-2) vs. Atlanta Falcons (13-5), NE by 3 - It really comes down to this: do you, or do you not, think the Patriots will be able to slow down the Falcons' offense at all? That's really this entire game. The Falcons had the league's best offense all year, and the Patriots have the league's best scoring defense. The Falcons, meanwhile, had the league's 27th-ranked defense, while the Patriots have Tom Freaking Brady. While there's the potential for a shootout, I trust Bill Belichick and company far too much to think they'll let it slip through their fingers. The vast majority of times a top scoring offense has faced a top scoring defense in the Super Bowl, the defense was victorious. We also have the revenge factor... how sweet will it be for the Patriots to take the Lombardi from Roger Goodell after the bullshit that was DeflateGate?

Ultimately the Falcons' only chance is to win in a shootout, unless they're somehow able to rattle Brady with a four man rush. But I just trust the Patriots to come out on top and show they're the superior team.

SUPER BOWL LI - New England Patriots (16-2) vs. Atlanta Falcons (13-5), NE by 3 - After how they handled both Seattle and Green Bay it's hard to pick against Atlanta. They just have one of the best offenses in the game right now. The Patriots on the other hand also have one of the bests offenses in the league, led by arguably the greatest QB to ever play the game. I don't see a huge difference in defense heading into the game though I do lean towards the Patriots being the better unit. Add in the fact Belichick is arguably the best coach in football history and I just don't see how you can pick against them. Patriots 30, Falcons 20

I'm taking the upset and having Atlanta beat Pats 31-24. As the seconds tic down thew score will be 24-24 with NE having the ball with 24 seconds to go on their own 25. Brady throws an INT and Atlanta returns it for 6. Add the extra point. Atlanta wins!

SUPER BOWL LI - New England Patriots (16-2) vs. Atlanta Falcons (13-5), NE by 3 - I think this one is going to go down as one of the classic Super Bowls. I've thought about how I think the game will go, not just the final score and I see a back and forth affair with like 5-6 lead changes. I believe both offenses will manage to get their teams going. Ultimately, I think the Falcons will have a lead and a chance to win the Super Bowl in the fourth quarter after a TD and two-point conversion, but Brady will lead the Patriots to #5 with a classic Brady touchdown drive and the defense holds against the Falcons to end it.
