Yeah please, 2 minutes at least should be given for picks. You can't even do any comparison between guys in 30 seconds. Hell, you can't even do any comparison between many guys in the four minutes between your picks while other guys are picking players.

2 minutes? I'd like the draft to be over by the end of the week.

I can switch it to 60 seconds, but even in mock drafts with 40 seconds it takes excruciatingly long. If it takes you two minutes to make a pick that's just obnoxiously long.

Yeah but that won't happen, especially for the later rounds.

Nobody is going to be an asshole and take up the entire 2 minutes (the only time it would happen is on motion's first pick and then it'll go to autopick).

I'm cool with 60 seconds I guess (prefer 90). 30 seconds is ridiculous though.

60 we can probably get by with. Truthfully most people will probably be picking their guy within probably 20 for the first few rounds. But it's nice to have a little wiggle room in case something comes up and you have to adjust quickly.

It'd be over at 4:15 Eastern time.

Here's the thing though, nobody is going to take 2 minutes for every pick they make. The first 6 or 7 rounds are pretty easy to get through and everyone has a good Idea what they are doing and the last 3 or 4 rounds everybody's picking kickers, defenses and guys at the back of their bench, but during the key rounds in 7-11 when you are trying to find significant contributors to help your team amongst all the other trash and disappointment players you need some time to put some thought in those 5 rounds.

I've played in 90 second leagues before and those drafts go pretty good, but a 30 second pick time is something I've never even heard of it's ridiculous.

Also, if people were really that concerned about what time it will be ending, maybe we shouldn't have started it at 10 PM.

Personally, I didn't have a problem with the 10 o'clock start time. I'm not working Monday and things worked out for me. I didn't know it was only going to be 30 seconds until someone pointed it out today so that's why I said something today.

What's everyone's schedule like tonight? Maybe we could still move it an hour earlier to 9EST?

Also, the 30 seconds per pick wasn't exactly broadcasted to everyone, it was in the league settings if you went in there to check which I did. Otherwise no one would have known.

No need to get snippy, 90 seconds per pick usually results in a draft of like an hour and a half, maybe less. It'll be fine. I can make the time work, I was just worried about people in the eastern time zone. It's only 9 PM here.

I'm not trying to be snippy. Just saying, HFX and I have done multiple mock drafts and they've lasted over an hour with the picks being only 40 seconds and multiple people auto picking. Which is why I think 90 seconds is too long. But if everyone else wants it then sure.

I think 60 seconds is fair IMO. I can see why people want 90 seconds but I can see how it can raise some concerns between people.
