not really, I mean he missed 3 games last season and always seemed to be battling injuries when playing, finished with 6.5 sacks which was down 5 from the season before, it's Jerry Jones being a idiot again, a few days prior he said that he couldn't "fathom" a Cowboys defense without DeMarcus Ware, Cowboys are rumoured to be around $21million over the salary cap and cutting Ware would cut it by around $8million.

All in all it is mostly down to the fact that Jerry Jones hasn't been able to handle the salary cap and now its coming back to bite him in butt and could end up losing one of the best pass rushers in the NFL!

It's unfortunate for Dallas if he does get released, because that team is 1000x better off with him on it.

If the Cowboys do release Ware don't expect any team to sign him to a small deal. He'll have a lot of suitors and the basic rule of the free market is for anything of any quality you have to over pay for what you are getting. Ware would probably be the highest paid free agent this year.

Don't be so sure about that. I'm sure some people were saying the exact same thing last year when Bennent and Avril were both free agents.

It also comes down to Ware wanting to win a championship or get paid more money. Both Avril and Bennent came over last year on "bargain" deals because they knew they had an opportunity at winning a title. Ware has been in the league a long time and hasn't sniffed a conference title yet alone a Superbowl. So there's a whole lot of factors besides money. And seeing as how Schnieder/Carrol convinced BOTH Avril and Bennent to come over last year on less money, I wouldn't be shocked to see them be able to convince Ware to do the same thing.

Not saying any of this will happen. But it's a possibility.

Their offensive line was much improved from the year before. Besides, Costa was the only one of this group of ever got on the field, and he was a backup. Dominguez was on the practice squad all year and Olson spent the year on the reserved/injured list after being hurt during training camp.
