October 2015: Futbol/Football Discussion: The 'when will Jose get sacked' Thread

Before getting into Jose's drama, I got done over by Geoff Shreeves on Twitter (rightly so!), notifications went through the roof with everyone happily reveling in my momentary lapse of attention:

But yes, Jose loses and has a TV interview moaning again. He's worried for him to come out and challenging Roman to sack him.

Hardest win of the season so far today, 3-1 over Falkirk and 9 out of 9 in the league. Rangers controlled the game the entire way but after an opener within minutes of kick off and a Falkirk equaliser about 10 minutes later they had a massive struggle to get ahead again.

Rangers were creating all the chances you could ask for but there was absolutely no final product for a long time, the team just couldn't click that last part into place. On the hour Kenny Miller replaced Nathan Oduwa and the game opened up quite a lot, the play looked more confident and a goal seemed inevitable.

With 10 minutes left James Tavernier tucked away another great free kick to finally give Rangers the lead, with Lee Wallace making it 3-1 to close out the 90. I'd be surprised if there was a pair of full backs with more goals between them than Tav and Waldo.

Well played Arsenal, just want to say thanks for scoring only three goals rather than the 5-6 I feared after 30 minutes.

Wasn't overly optimistic considering United had lost at Everton for the past three seasons at Goodison but a 3-0 win with a goal for Rooney, happily take that. City only scored five but good that they'll be without Aguero/Silva but De Bruyne/Sterling performing well atm.

I've seen better defending in a park kick about with my friends than Norwich City have managed over the past two weeks.

I was at the game today, not a bad performance from Villa and we probably didn't deserve to lose, but alas. Didn't hear a word from Swansea's fans until their goals. Their away support was pretty terrible.

I fully expect to wake up on Monday morning and see news of Sherwood's sacking. No hard feelings, he's a nice bloke but he's out of his depth.

Also I'm not sure if they'll show it on MOTD but one of Swansea's defenders (name escapes me) headbutted Micah Richards in an off-the-ball incident. Ashley Williams then came in and started shoving Richards. Ref finally saw it and booked Richards.

Sacking Sherwood to bring in Moyes might be a good move but seems there are deeper issues with the management higher up.

Sherwood is buoyant but never saw any real managerial genius about him even at Tottenham - probably his best performance was getting A performance out of Adebayor (briefly)

Yo my man MO11 is finally hitting his Madrid form. And yeah Alexis Sanchez is still fucking awesome. Confirmed not-one-season-wonder.
