What?! No wonder he played today, I thought it was bizarre incase he got injured.

He probably feels with the 10 goals he scored, got more confidence but still not going to get gametime.

I still think the Remy deal will go through as they'll just use the Suarez money for him, if Borini stays then atleast you'll have someone to make up numbers of the squad

Lmao Saints have now reportedly agreed to sell Lovren to Liverpool for 15 million after accepting that the player is determined to leave no matter what, hilarious.

Also, for a club who were pissed off somewhat rotten with Shaw, Lallana and Lovren's transfers playing out in the media and a club who accused Liverpool of tapping up their players, Koeman went and publically declared his interest in Ron Vlaar this week.

Funniest thing about it though is that the fans reckon they can get him for 2 million, lol.

Why would he want to go to Southampton when Van Gaal is interested in taking him to Man United?

:jericho

I think he's chasing Vermaelen because he can play CB and LB if needed and could fit into different formations with his versatility. Vlaar tbf was outstanding in the WC but not ideally sure he'd be able to handle the pressure of playing for United where every mistake will be magnified and exploded massively.

Lovren to Liverpool? Wow. I wonder if Jay Rodriguez is next. Imagine he'll be begging to go aswell to join his friends!

!

Based on what? Granted it isn't the same pressure but he definitely came under serious scrutiny as part of the Villa team that were getting thumped every week. If he's good enough to do the job for Holland and the world stage I'd back him to do the same were United to sign him. I know Porky wouldn't be happy to see him go but if Vlaar is to leave I'd hope he gets the chance to go forward at a big club rather than side-step to a team that could be on the decline.

Several papers reporting that Spurs are offering Lewis Holtby and Michael Dawson plus cash for Ron Vlaar.

I'd take that.

Holtby would be a cracking signing.

Norwich apparently turned down offers for Redmond and Fer this week. Why can't someone take fucking Hoolahan?

Southampton put in a bid in the 3 mil region for Redmond. Apparently QPR are chasing Fer but it's all rumour.

It was pretty well-known that a few weeks back, Nicklas Bendtner was in talks with Frankfurt over a deal, but it fell through.

BT have reported that Bendtner wanted 40k per week, plus an extra 30k for every point Frankfurt won :lol

And Drogba back to Chelsea is official. All the stuff about his exit being perfect aside it's still a great signing and he'll probably still get some big goals where he's needed.

Southampton reportedly want £27m for Morgan Schneiderlin. @PorkChop, I see what you mean when you say Southampton overprice their players.
