- Ryan Giggs was never that good, even in his prime
- Gareth Barry is probably the most underrated Premier League player post-2000
- Southampton's academy is a good academy, but not world class as it's often praised. The only elite player they've ever produced is Gareth Bale, and Spurs had a bigger role in developing him into the player he is today than Southampton ever did. Lallana, Shaw, Walcott and Ox are all good but not great players.
- Pep Guardiola is nothing more than a chequebook manager. My dad could succeed at Barcelona, Bayern and Man City given the funds Pep had. He'd certainly do no worse.
- Eric Cantona was overrated. He's a cult of personality and that's what made his a household name and a beloved figure. A bit like Zlatan, but not as talented.
- Pele is a charlatan who played against fishermen and farmers and it's laughable that people still talk about him in the same breath as Ronaldo and Messi
- Leicester City were all on steroids
- Jack Wilshere is an average mid-table footballer at very best
- I actually perform better at right-back and not centre-back, no matter what my mates say
- Dennis Bergkamp, whilst good, was never the unbelievable footballing genius that many Arsenal fans would have you believe
- Harry Kane is world class
