I'd agree with SKS/Daz on this one.

Of course, the reaction has to be eliminated from the decision but in that split second, it's a hard to do that. If I was Webb, I'd have made the same decision based on Suarez's theatrical reaction. Just to clarify that had a Manchester United player gone down like that and not got a penalty, I'd have blamed the player for an OTT reaction that put that doubt in the ref's mind.

City 0-2 Barcelona.

City did well with ten men but Demichelis red card turning point. I felt he should have let Messi go and score, he ain't going to miss and it remains 11 v 11. But still showed effort but failed to really get the breaks needed to score (Clichy's effort).

Tie over. City need a CB, LB in the summer if they want to progress further in the CL. I'd have gone for Milner over Navas - latter's dipped after early promise and latter might be dull but he's got stamina required.

Dimichelis :angrysanta Clear red card, but I think he started the contact before Messi got into the box. Very close call to make, as he was right on the edge. If it was only a free kick, the result might have been different considering City played well with only 10 men.

I thought we played pretty well the first half, had some chances and really needed to capitalize on them. Especially the one when Valdes was down and out of position, I was screaming at the television for the ball to go in, but it didn't. Negredo had 2 good chances as well but both went wide. Can't afford to miss opportunities. The late goal was rubbing salt in the wound.

Not counting us out just yet though. If we can beat Bayern at the Allianz we can beat Barca at Camp Nou. Won't be easy but I believe. Save_Us_KunAguero_16

Briefly going back to Arsenal Liverpool game, Liverpool may have deserved a penalty but Liverpool should of been down to 10 men (Gerrard) and Arsenal should of had a penalty, when a defender (Skrtel I think) kicked Cazorla right in the leg.

Going to the last nights game, I found the match very boring, especially the first half.

City shit themselves are put 10 behind the ball at all times, no team is willing to get and attack Barca (even Bayern last season didn't go and attack Barca, they just countered Barca perfectly) so games are going to be boring when City put 10 behind the ball, City will have to come for Barca in the 2nd leg so I expect Barca to dominate that game even more.

Messi never shows up against the English teams who are always far too physical for him.

Another reason why Ronaldo is better.

Man City almost has no shot now. Barca will possess the crap out of them at the Nou Camp.

I have just played against Bayern on my Football Manager game, and I am gonna go with the result I got on the game. Which is a 3-1 win to Arsenal, with Van Persie scoring a hat trick. Bet it on.

Yaya Sanogo starting up front for Arsenal tonight, he did alright against Liverpool but Bayern are a different beast. Haven't seen him play enough to know if this is a good idea or not but Giroud hasn't looked too hot recently so it's worth a punt with someone new I guess.

Arsenal are going to get molested. A French Ligue 2 player is spearheading their attack against the best team in the world.

Viazon, prepare your anus.

Arsenal were breaking forward without breaking a sweat there for a while, Sanogo looked a little out of his depth chasing some of the balls. Ozils penalty was really weak.

We still have been the better team so far, even though it's only been ten minutes. But god damn Ozil. That was a weak penalty.

Some really good chances have fallen at the feet of Sanogo and he doesn't look capable of putting them away right now.
