Judging from their fans on Twitter -

- They'll buy Fabregas, Lukaku, Eto'o
- Rickie Lambert is a cunt with no respect, can go fuck himself
- With a few good signings, they'll get fourth place
- Lallana will flop at Liverpool, sitting on the bench most of the time
- Shaw will flop at United, he'll also be sat on the bench
- They deserve a world class manager as they're a "massive" club

There's so many more that I can't remember. Looking through Twitter is s gold mine right now.

Meh, give me Natalie Sawyer everyday. :vince2

In fact, most of them would get a poke from me besides Clare Tomlisnon/and another blonde one with the really short hair, Alex something..

In other news, Lampard leaves Chelsea after 13 years.

A club legend for Chelsea, no doubt. He blossomed into a fantastic goal scoring midfielder but unlike Gerrard, just hasn't been able to evolve his game into that deep lying position that the latter has but he's used his engine to help his team defensively whilst still contributing a goal or two. His assist for Ramires' goal in the Camp Nou and his general leadership in 2012 CL win is to be admired.

I thought Jose might keep him for another year but seems like this was a decision from Roman. He's never really forgiven Frank for his alleged role in the discontent that grew from AVB's reign when it was a collective issue of non-performance of a manager they didn't really have respect for.

Good if he stays in the PL or goes abroad to Italy rather than the MLS but latter place seems where he is headed.

I reckon he'll go to that New York City team for the paycheck after David Villa signed today. That or he'll go help out Uncle 'Arry at QPR.

Adam Lallana has told Saints he wants to leave. Not a surprise.

The latest in the Saints fans' merry-go-round madness: (I've retyped some for legibility)

"Because Liverpool bought Carroll for 30 million, we should get 35 million for Lallana" (I actually argued with a guy about this, saying it was ridiculous)

"We should sign Vermaelen from Arsenal"

"heard the new manager will have 200 mil to spend for a Champions League push" (my personal favourite)

"Luke Shaw isn't even that good and Lallana only had one good season"

"If Poch left earlier we could of got van Gaal imo"

Some people were tweeting about a loan bid for Fabregas, I wasn't sure if it was a joke though. Probably not, knowing Saints fans.

So he's told Southampton he wants to go to Liverpool after the WC for £25m but it seems WON'T hand in a transfer request.

Surely, if he REALLY wants to leave, he hands in a transfer request, RIGHT?

No it seems, and the reason is because he - on the advice of his agent - doesn't want to lose any money if he doesn't hand in a request and also to avoid harming his relationship with the fans (which will probably be broken when he leaves anyway).

Reminded me of last summer with Rooney when he wanted a new challenge at Chelsea but didn't want to hand in a transfer request.

Is it down to money why they don't or is it genuine sincerity in not wanting to harm the relationship with the fans?

In other news, Real Madrid go pink with their away kit and @PorkChop - get ready for a Lambert-Keane combination at Villa Park. Two CL winners as players but intrigued how it'll translate into results on the pitch.

Lallana would hand in a transfer request but if he does, he loses his loyalty bonus. :jerk

As for Keane, I don't like him but the team need a good kick up the arse. He'll certainly give a different perspective to Lambert's typical "Can't fault the lads" tripe.

So they're offered 25 million, told by the player himself he wants to leave and now this. Surely Southampton don't think they can get more money elsewhere? The figure Liverpool have offered is already too much IMO.

Well according to some Saints fans, they feel that should be getting 35 for him lmao.

Lmao. Going by my own rationale of 'value + 10m' I suppose I can get my head around 25, coupled with the undeniable fact that the game has gotten more expensive. I just don't like paying stupid amounts for players when you could get similar/better players for much cheaper. Shaqiri for example; quality young player, would fit the mould well, doesn't ever play at Bayern...I'm sure we could get him for much less than 25.

The reason why Saints want so much is because 25% of the transfer fee will go to Bournemouth, which is why they're pushing for 25 despite Lallana never being worth it.

More Saints madness: Lovren is apparently in talking with Spurs, and wants to rejoin his former boss. Saints fans consider this a "sideways move" and are laughing at Spurs fans on Twitter who claim that Spurs are a bigger club than Saints.

Also Saints fans are set on signing Lukaku. One guy wrote that as Lukaku joined West Brom, he'd happily join Saints. I replied to him that Lukaku joined WBA when he needed to prove himself in the Premier League, and he did. He then went to Everton, and did it again. Lukaku will probably be looking at a permanent transfer to a top, top team, not another season on loan.

OH MY FUCKING GOD LOL - https://twitter.com/PubTalkForum/status ... 1490234368 @Camstud

Norwich signed Lewis Grabban from Bournemouth earlier in the week. It's hardly a Leroy Fer like singing but he scored 20 + goals last season in the Championship, so hopefully he can repeat that this coming season. If we managed to hold onto Hooper and RVW, with Becchio still waiting in the wings, you'd have to imagine Norwich would have one of the more formidable strike forces in the league. That is assuming they can find some of their previous form under Adams.
