But you really think he'd have done that well at Villa? I'm not so sure. I think he's shown at Cardiff, that he's abit too nice for management because the players, quite rightly after Mackay's sacking, dropped off and he wasn't able to really motivate them.
WBA sack Pepe Mel. Shame, did admire him for the fact he made an attempt to speak English unlike Pochettino who speaks it well but is lazy and uses an interpreter.
I'm not bothered about him not taking over at Villa, he wouldn't have done any better than Lambert given the conditions. I just think he's a
bellend.
What makes OGS a "bell-end"? I don't see this hate anywhere else I must say. Is it because he smiles alot lol, what?
I've explained before, though to make it clear:
He had a chance to join Villa, become part of a project with a chairman who made him a top priority target, but not have much money. Says no, citing reasons such as he didn't want to move his family out of Norway.
He then has the chance to join Cardiff - a club going nowhere, with a bellend of a chairman who disrespects club traditions and has no idea how to run a football club. Here's the dealbreaker though - this bellend has money. All of a sudden, moving his family out of Norway isn't an issue and Ole is very proud to be Cardiff's new manager.
He shows his immaturity and lack of professionalism by storming out of an interview when asked about Liverpool's title chances. All season long he looks like a man who has no idea what he's doing, Cardiff finish bottom of the table, and are going to lose their top stars like Caulker and Mutch this summer. Deary me.
For the record, I'm not pissed off that he turned down Villa. To be honest, I think he would've taken us down. At very best, he'd have been on par with when Lambert's done this season, and that's shite. It's the way in which Solskjaer has acted throughout his return to the Premier League that pisses me off, and I'm glad he's been relegated. I get that he's a United legend and that you'll excuse his faults (like Ryan Giggs) but he's been a top notch, self-entitled wanker since his return.
