What are your thoughts on the new Sky Sports News?

It seems they've ditched the traditional desk with two presenters, and now have multiple presenters around the studio, who they go to very briefly to discuss a variety of topics.

It's a bit hard to follow at times and I've seen people online trashing the new format, but I'm happy with anything that puts Hayley McQueen on my telly more. Dem curves.

I'll tell you the main thing that fucking annoys me about all the changes. Sky Sports 1 is now '402', Sky Sports 2 is now '403' and so forth - the brand new Sky Sports 5 is '406' - WHY?! STOP BEING FUCKING ANNOYING SKY SPORTS YOU FUCKS. Sky Sports News is now '401' which makes no fucking sense, they should have just changed it back to '408' (which is what Sky Sports News originally was anyway), put the new channel on '405' and left the others the way they were rather than be awkward bastards.

As for the channel itself I'm pretty much indifferent about it because they've not actually changed anything rather than the design of the studio and the layout of their presenting. Plus they've been back-slapping and self-promoting constantly since the change so it's hard to even watch right now.

I hadn't actually noticed yet. So I tuned in to see. And I noticed at Kate Abdo was on screen. Then I forgot what the question was.

As Prophet says, a fucking ridiculous move with the channel numbers.

Annoying is that they use SSN HQ as a way to promote Sky Sports and what's on those channels. They seem to start the broadcast the hour and at quarter to the hour with plugs of Sky Sports.

Love the design of the studio as it means we can see more of female presenters' curvacious bodies.

I would like to expand on this. I am on Virgin and Sky Sports News is 501. However, I have just noticed that 500 doesn't have a channel. So it easily could have been on channel 500, then have the rest just how they used to be.

I'm on Virgin as well. On my telly Sky Sports News is one channel away from the adult channels. One wrong click and you've switched on XXX Mums in front of your parents.
