A fee has been agreed with Barcelona, upwards of 70 million apparently. Liverpool are in talks with Wilfried Bony to replace him.

Around 50 million is going to Saints, by the looks of things - Lambert could end up costing up to 8, Lallana was 25, Lovren could be around 20.

Gonna be a bad transfer window for Liverpool I think. Sold their best player, spending ludicrous amounts of money on players that aren't world class and don't look to be interested in anyone a club in the Champions League should be interested in.

United are linked with Hummels and Di Maria, Liverpool are linked with Ben Davies and Bony.

Inevitable once the bite happened. Made it more easier for Liverpool to come to the idea of selling him. Had the bite not happened, feel they would have put their foot down to try and hold onto him.

Sanchez tbf was a target but wanted the Arsenal move and yeah, it does seem they're under-going a Spurs style signing style. Sturridge will be the main striker but he missed 19 games last season so then you're left with Lambert and potentially Bony? Mandzukic might have been an ideal signing, CL experience etc.
