Last night's Republican debate

Postby KaiserGlider » Feb 14, '16, 2:55 pm

It was the first time I'd watched a political debate in its entirety (I think) and I found it surprisingly entertaining. Trump going after Jeb Bush over and over again was hilarious. That goblin Cruz getting called out several times. Ben Carson was practically non-existent. John Kasich seems like the most reasonable guy up there. The whole thing is ridiculous.

Kasich is the most reasonable guy running for the GOP nomination. Which is why he won't get it

Kasich was the candidate I wanted from the start. I know he won't win, but he is the only candidate that has any real chance of working with the Democrats on solutions.

I love every Republican Debate for the same reason I love Fox News the stupid bullshit that comes out of their mouths(with the exeption of Kasich) is just pure Awesomeness. :) It's sad that Kasich has absolutely no chance of being the nominee because he uses Logic and Facts and is bi partisan. But that's what we get from Republicans now all because the country had the balls to elect a Black man twice ;)

Vote for Bernie. Everybody else in the race is a corporate sheep and if you vote otherwise you are fighting against humanity.

Wow, I thought it was horrible when people thought Trump was running away with the race. But at least that always had a humor of a hidden camera show, where you were looking around waiting for somebody to jump up and shout gotcha.

People actually think Kasich is the most reasonable Republican? If that's true then that is a tragic tale of the Republican party. Kasich would screw America, like he's screwed Ohio.

He IS the most reasonable Republican currently running, which says far more about the Republicans than it does about Kasich.

He's the only candidate who is fighting for our rights as people. The rest are puppets to special interest (Big banks, big oil, Koch brothers, etc.). All that you have to do is look at the major donors of all candidates. The DNC and GOP parties are entirely corrupt.

My point was that don't put the cart before the horse. Sanders hasn't even been elected to anything yet and your dubbing him as the savior of us all. Just slow down a bit. People are doing this more and more now. Acting like the candidate they follow is going to start some sort of revolution. People thought the same thing with Obama and then 8 years later they are still waiting.

I wouldn't say he's a savior by any means, but he's definitely the only one of the candidates with a shot at winning who has the best interests of people in mind and not the best interests of him or her self.

Obama's campaign was funded by Wall Street. He never intended to change anything. His "political revolution" was a scam to influence people to vote for him so that he could protect the bankers. Reagan, Bush, Clinton, Bush, Obama has been the worst stretch of presidents in American history. They're all puppets. Our founding fathers would be disgusted.

Bernie is the complete opposite of all those jokers who have essentially been hired to be president by billionaires. He's paid for by the people and looking out for the people.

I think it is imperative that the revolutionary, anti-establishment political atmosphere in the US at the moment does not dissipate if Sanders loses to Clinton. Bernie's presidential campaign has engineered an applicable framework for meaningful social change in the country, and it must not only be maintained - but extended - in the post-election years. But something tells me this won't be the case.
