Kurt Angle on why he's not in WWE

On the World of Wrestling podcast, he said,
"I don't want to go back right now"

"I got hit with 4 DUI's between 2008 and 2013. As a publicly traded company, that's the last thing they need"

"When I tried to go back a year and a half ago, I think they were thinking let's see how he pans out. Let's see if he can get his shit together. I think that's part of it, I actually knew ahead of time that they were going to most likely say no."

Wonder if he'll ever be back at this point?

If Kevin Nash can't pass a physical, I doubt Kurt Angle can either.

He'll be back one day. He's an all-time great who belongs in the upper echelons of the WWE Hall of Fame. I really don't see him ever wrestling in a WWE ring again though.

I'm certain he'll be back to some point, probably in the next year or so. I doubt they would let him wrestle, but a Hall of Fame entry is a certainty, and they could use him down at the Performance Center as a coach. He seems like he would be great at that given his background.

IDK what his promo work is like these days but an on-air role might be best use of him.

On the positive side he's booked to wrestle Zack Sabre Jr in a couple of weeks time and I'm going to go and have a good time.
