I'll be losing Impact this week

Apparently Viacom, the owners of Spike TV, are in a negotiation fight with my cable company and they will be dropping off on Tuesday which means I won't be seeing anymore Impact episodes. And it extends further than that to Comedy Central, MTV and other channels.

Viacom wanted to raise all of their prices 40% which would have jacked the prices all up. My cable provider is a local provider that I'm sure no one has heard of which also keeps things cheaper.

That sucks, man. But you can always just do what I do and watch it on Youtube. Not as convenient by any means, but it's easy to find there and usually in high quality.

I actually caught the last couple of episodes of Impact and it seems to be getting a lot better, so it's not the best time to lose the channel. Back in December, you probably wouldn't have been too upset.

Since their ratings have been the same (for the most part) for the last 4 years or better, I would say if anything, they just have not gained
