Tonight on Impact, Kurt Angle announced that the Dudleys, the Hardys, and the Wolves will compete in a series of 3-way tag team matches. The team that wins twice will be the TNA Tag Team Champions.

Looks like this won't be happening now though. Rumours are going around that Bully Ray's deal with TNA is about to expire and he won't be re-signing. And one of the Wolves broke his leg at a show recently. Just when TNA started to care about its tag division again, it's been decimated already.

That really fucking sucks. I reckon if this series went on it could have reached the quality level of Motor City Machine Guns vs. Beer Money from a couple of years ago. Or come real close.

Well we got at least one good match out of it. I loved this sequence from last night.

Yeah, the first match was fucking awesome. The wolves did not disappoint and even devon and Matt hardy took major bumps and delivered some big spots. I was skeptical of devon and Matt because they just plain sucked in their previous runs with tna. Both looked like they trained hard for what could be a final run and they provided a great match. I wish tna would have booked this with some kayfabe emotions though. Hardys / 3D are at their best when they are feuding and this 3 way mutual friendship face matches just could be that much better if their was some emotion involved
