The third edition of Phoenix Championship Wrestling is coming your way, and it's bringing something big with it.
PCW President Richard Burke is expected to appear on the show for the first time since the inaugural episode, and make a major announcement concerning how, and when the first ever PCW World Heavyweight Champion will be crowned. The PCW locker room has been buzzing with all sorts of predictions about what exactly Burke might say, but the only way to know for sure... is to hear it from the Prez himself.
The Disciples have reunited. Episode 2 ended with the return of Theodore Barry, who joined the self-proclaimed "savior" Amos Hess in a mutual beat down of Gryphon Richard. Omega tried to save his protege, but it was too late, and all the Buffalo could do was helplessly call for paramedics as his friend lay in his arms, bleeding. Is the issue between these four men over... or has it just begun?
The power struggle continues between the only two former world champions in PCW: Kaiser Cavanah and Daz. The Hall of Famer declared that he was Cavanah's personal "Law in Order" in PCW, and once again made sure that Cavanah stopped throwing his weight around by volunteering to ref the Kaiser/Haynes rematch. Cavanah forfeited the match, taking a count-out loss to Ryan Haynes. But how long can Daz keep Cavanah's ego in check? These are combustible elements, and it's only a matter of time before they explode.
But that night, Daz would have more problems to deal with, as he was mysterious attacked backstage by the frightening assailant once known as "The American Lion"... First Nick Foster. Then Daz. Will Spencer Miller strike again? If so, who will be the victim? Why are these attacks happening? So many questions, and so far... no answers.
Thoedore Barry wasn't the only one making his return last week. Drake Bernard had an equally-impressive comeback, defeating Nick Foster. While Sean Knight, a former WCSF International Champion and Gold Rush winner, announced in a video package that he too would soon grace the land of the Phoenix with his presence. Could more familiar faces be on their way back...?
While that question is up in the air, the one concerning NEW faces is not. Because PCW's "New Generation" has officially gained 2 more members: Orion Bishop and Magnum Phillips. Plus, after 2 weeks of brief vignettes, the man known only as "The Master" will finally make his in-ring debut. Which of these 3 newcomers will make the greatest impact when they get into a PCW ring for the first time ever?
And last but not least, PCW.com has just announced that the Main Event for Episode 3 will be Zaid vs Hiroshi Sato. After costing Johnny Valentino his match against Sato last week, one has to wonder what the situation is between these 3 individuals, and how that will come into play during this match. Zaid claims to have made it big in Hollywood, but will that success carry over to PCW's squared circle?
All that and more, on the next exciting installment of Phoenix Championship Wrestling!
