Simple question. Do you read the shows?

At the begining i read then all, then for like a few show span i didnt read, but im getting back in to reading them and have read the ppv and the couple shows after.

Every now and then I hear about something that sounds cool from Tim or Nick or one of the other guys, and I'll want to check it out. So I read the very occasional show, but usually I don't.

I read every show word for word. Sometimes it'll take me a little while to get my comments up but eventually I'll comment on every show and I'd like to think my comments have substance behind them rather than just acknowledgement that I've read each segment :)

I still haven't read the last PPV as people put so much work in and want to be able to read every match.

I read all the promos and segments all the time, and parts of all the matches (usually the last 3rd) if I'm short for time. I try and read the entire matches time permitting, but it can be tough sometimes.

I hope people are entirely honest here because it would be really interesting to see how many read the full show.

From start to finish

I like to comment on everything cause I don't want to make people feel like I'm skipping over their stuff or that their segment/match/promo didn't interest me. I'm more critical towards things I don't understand or not able to follow. I have to read everything in order to follow the story that's being told cause one thing I hate, is being lost in a story.

I love the discussion because I can take what someone says about my match/promo/segment and use it on the next promo/match/segment mostly in commentary. Like if Dylan does have a match next Onslaught, I can take what Tim said in the recent discussion and use it in commentary. You can take things in discussion and use it in your writing good and bad.

Like when Daz said that he was disappointed that I mentioned Dylan & Cruz had the same finisher and I didn't use it to finish off the match. On the next Onslaught I would have had Cage say something along the lines of, "We're gonna miss out on a finisher vs finisher match." Since the feud ended before it started there was no point.

I read it all. Word for word, I just have a hard time commenting as a mod because I am afraid of bias setting in or people getting offended.

If people can't even be bothered to read the Quick Results I would seriously question why they even bother with PCW at all.

I do, I myself love to read it all. However I don't comment on the shows but that's another story for another time.

I usually do a quick skimming of the shows right when they're posted to see what happens and go back later to read in detail, haven't lately due to my summer class homework taking up most of my time (plus reading more is just overkill ).

I guess the reason I made this poll was because it seems like only several of us actually ever make comments to any extent, so from there it's not a leap to suspect that people aren't reading at all. Which can be frustrating as a writer.

I think one of the problems is people feel they have to comment on every part of the show because that's what a few people do. It seems overwhelming to some and thus they don't post anything.

People should comment on the parts they feel the need to comment on, people who aren't mentioned just have to take it in stride. It's better to have a dozen posts commenting on something than 3 or 4 posts with full thoughts.

Well I don't know how many more times we need to have these threads, we've stated over and over again that people don't need to comment on everything

At some point we'll just have to come to the realization that most people don't care to read much or comment. We'll just have to live with it or shut it down.

One of the traits we have at PCW is that people don't have to comment if they don't want too. If someone would rather just contribute by way of writing then power to them, I don't think we should be pressuring anyone into commenting and I think we should quash the myth that people have to comment - if we start imposing regulations (however unofficial) it'd stop people enjoying the game.
