The Insider Report
05.07.2014
Warning: Spoilers may be present in the following rumours.
-For weeks, the Insider Report speculated that Andrew Logan was not the only returning star that would hit the PCW stage. Shane Evans debuted on the most recent Onslaught episode to prove us right. Now the Insider can exclusively reveal that Johnny Devine has agreed in principle to face Kaiser Cavanah at an upcoming Pay Per View event in singles competition. However, it is currently unknown when Devine will return to television and when the feud will begin.
-Kaiser Cavanah made headlines by telling Richard Burke he would be sorry for refusing Kaiser a chance at an automatic rematch. Sources indicate that Kaiser will indeed challenge Nick Foster for the championship at Genocide, but the company is currently being tight-lipped about specific plans for the match. Some speculate that there will be a gimmick attached, others that it will become a triple threat.
-PCW plans related to the new Amos Hess/Matt Sears "secret" storyline are in direct response to how high the company currently is on Sears as a prospect. Expect the storyline to showcase Sears in a way that prepares him to move up the card.
-With the Zanetti family having just debuted and Drake Bernard primed for a return, PCW plans to debut a couple other new stars in coming weeks. Expect to see Aaron Reed and Evelyn Quinn get air time soon.
-The entire PCW roster was given off from travel for the 4th of July. Most of the Canadian and British wrestlers on the roster celebrated with their American friends.
-SUBMITTED from a source: Gabriel Reece was once again cited for reckless driving and has been suspended from appearing on television for the next episode of Onslaught. Sources indicate that his absence will be noted in kayfabe by Orion Bishop.
That is the Insider Report for this week; news is slow. We encourage more submissions and will be posting the next report after the coming episode of Onslaught.
