Which of the early prospective matches for Genocide is most intriguing to you?

Postby Everlong » Jun 23, '14, 4:19 pm

Based on what happened on the most recent Onslaught, it looks as though we're in for the following matches at Genocide:

Nick Foster (c) vs. Kaiser Cavanah
Spencer Miller vs. Daz
Andrew Logan vs. Shane Evans
Amos Hess vs. Matt Sears
NRC (c) vs. J-Team
Zaid vs. Gryphon Richard
Omega vs. Magnum Phillips
Orion Bishop vs. Gabriel Reece

Unclear right now what's happening with the Comeaus and with the Disciples after Knight's loss, and Zaid/Richard is only a hunch. We've also got Johnny Valentino floating around coming off a big PPV victory and keeping his momentum going this week. It seems like Kyle and the Zanettis will be tied together somehow, but it's hard to know whether that'll be a handicap or if perhaps Kyle will team with Valentino to try to take down his assailants. Ace is also in the picture, but hard to know where his future lies.

Am I forgetting anyone? Sorry if I am.

Anyway, which one of those potential matchups is most intriguing to you in the early going? How do you see these stories progressing?

The Hess/Sears storyline definitely has potential because it'll give Sears an upper tier opponent to test himself against, and the "secret" bit could be pretty interesting.

That seems like the largest card PCW has had to date. I think we might get some sort of segments with those people to cut down on having so many singles matches.

I'm going with a lower card match. Magnum Phillips vs Omega. The show is in Omega's hometown, which will add an extra layer as the crowd will be going nuts for him. That and two hard hitting guys will presumably be battling it to a KO for the Lone Star title. Unfortunately for Edmonton, I think Omega will be left unconscious too :P

That's a healthy looking card at no mistake. For me, it has to be Hess and Sears. Fan of both guys and I have a feeling the match is gonna be great. The added stuff with the secret certainly helps.

Logan/Evans for sure. Andrew had his shocking return and has been riding a wave of momentum ever since...but you can't imagine Evans not following suit now he's come back to debut with PCW. As far as unpredictability goes this one excites me.

Hess/Sears is another that I'm pumped for. Amos needs someone good to actually work with and Sears gets to work with one of the big dogs, plus the story is intriguing. I know Daz was pretty excited about this feud when him and Cia were discussing it potentially happening a while ago, so this could be killer.

Magnum/Omega are both badass brawlers who are all set to have a brutal encounter, plus it's in Omega's hometown. 'Bout time we got to see Magnum actually do something this month!

Geez, that really is a lot of singles matches. You know what this means... time for another Phoenix Fray!

Picking just one match is fucking hard. But for me it's gotta be Sears/Hess. Here you have two writers that always do such a terrific job of getting their characters across in matches. It's going to be interesting to see how Sears tackles the biggest man in PCW, so the basic psychology for this one should be great. Then you have the storyline which will add even more fuel to the fire as it unfolds.

Didn't notice this was a PCW thing and thought it would be a very dark and very racist thread.

Sears/Hess should be a good one, but ill be looking foward to Miller/Daz 2 the most. I enjoyed their match at Resurgence alot and im looking foward to seeing if they can top that.

With the way the stories have started out on Onslaught, the one that is most intriguing is Hess & Sears with the secret and everything. It just all depends on what the secret is and how long before it's revealed.
