The Insider Report
16.06.2014

Our apologies for the delay on the post-Resurgence report.

Warning: Spoilers may be present in the following rumours.

-The Insider got in touch with the source who reported all of the Resurgence results in our previous edition. All results were accurate except for the result of the main event. Sources indicate Nick Foster was always pegged to win the match, but that PCW higher-ups were indicating that Kaiser Cavanah would retain to keep a greater sense of secrecy.

-Nick Foster was spotted after his title win in the company of Johnny Devine and of other British greats such as Daz, Delroy Andrews, Dynamite and Alex Morgan. Dynamite reportedly ribbed Delroy too many times about being the only one present to never hold a title, which nearly caused a fight, but Daz was able to keep the peace.

-Sources indicate that PCW higher-ups kept Gia and Johnny away from each other during Gia's several weeks off to provide a more "real" emotional experience when they reunited after Valentino's victory.

-For the most part, Magnum Phillips has kept to himself and maintained surly disposition backstage since arriving to PCW. However, rumours indicate that he and Omega have actually started to become friends backstage due to having similar personalities, which is why the two have been slated to work together. PCW higher-ups believe giving Magnum an opponent he likes will be a good opportunity for him to improve as a performer.

-The Brothers Comeau were official PCW representatives at the E3 conference last week. The pair were in good spirits despite their loss, but indicated that they are nowhere near giving up on their title hunt.

-Daz received great praise backstage for the way he put Spencer Miller over in their match.

-Kaiser Cavanah nearly began a fist fight backstage with Gabriel Reece, who cracked some jokes at the former champion's expense after he lost his title.

-Rumours continue to swirl about another potential return from a former WCSF star. With Johnny Devine's appearance on Resurgence the talk has shifted to him, but some insiders say that Devine remains happily retired.

-Amos Hess appears primed to become a new contender for the PCW Championship. It is said that PCW higher ups back him 100% and have been greatly impressed by his work, as well as the work of the Disciples.

-SUBMITTED from a source: Matt Sears' victory in the Phoenix Fray is most definitely indicative of how PCW officials feel about his potential in the company. Some say that you can expect Sears to go on a PPV winning streak.

-SUBMITTED from a source: After Resurgence went off the air, Nick Foster walked through Gorilla Position to find the entire PCW locker room lined up in the corridor. Everyone gave him a standing ovation and congratulated him on the great match and deserving title win.

-SUBMITTED from a source: Andrew Logan is currently NOT slated for a rematch with Gryphon Richard at the next PCW pay per view event. While this has prompted fans to suspect this means he will be Nick Foster's first challenger, sources close to the situation say that you can "definitely not" expect Logan in the title picture any time soon, leaving speculation open as to his next opponent.

-SUBMITTED from a source: Spencer Miller celebrated his victory over Daz by drinking a bottle of Bacardi Raspberry all by himself in a dark room whilst playing a Sting Greatest Hits collection.
